@@arlowelee well, what people are doing now is the renesis hybrid where they get fd housings because of the exhaust ports and better flow with the rx8 plates and rotors. This one might be running that.
@@wrench3699 I own a 2 RX-8 if you re-do the entire exhaust system from the manifold to the exit it would sound like this with a stock engine the reason people don't do it because it becomes undrivable at highway speeds.

@@RollingRoadEFI Pro race teams rebuild engines every season and they absolutely lose a little compression during a single session of intense use such as a race. Surprisingly, rotaries don't lose compression much from beating on them at a track day like a piston engine does. As long as you don't overheat the engine, they handle abuse MUCH better than a piston engine. They will never last 400,000 miles like some piston engines can, so they have a shorter lifespan for sure. However, piston engines can't live at or beyond the redline for long periods of time without quickly damaging the engine, whereas rotary engines last longer when you drive them at high RPM frequently. It's the difference between reciprocating motion vs rotational motion for the moving parts of the engine. The rotary engine just wants to continue spinning and has no connecting rods or pistons resisting momentum and changing direction every time the engine fires. Without the need for offset journals on the crankshaft to accommodate the reciprocating pistons, the rotary has an "eccentric shaft" that is more rigid, has less deflection, and has 33% more load bearing area than a crankshaft. This is what allowed Mazda to casually put a 9500RPM redline in every manual transmission RX8, even after Ford told them they aren't allowed to put a turbo on it like they had planned and also it has to be a four door sedan. The RX8 has a weird history.

This is it right here. I cant wait to get my rx8.
I’ve had my 2010 now for a year, couldn’t be happier with it
Got mine 2004 slapstick planning on getting it swapped with a manual trans and a 13b msp
Did you get it?
Not yet I don't have the funds right now
@@Gerardfpatricedude I got mine been wanting since I was 10, one will be around as long as you’re patient. Good luck!

Nice to see this legendary chassis put to work!
high revving engines sound heavenly
So ein geiles Auto, hab mir vor ein paar Jahren selber einen zugelegt echt zufrieden damit
Great video, how on earth did you manage to film it from so many angles?
five different rallies and two cameramen ;)

great car for motorsport
i had 2x RX8 and lot of fun on track days
Jo hab auch einen, so Rally rx8 sieht man nicht oft ist jetzt der 2 den ich auch TH-cam sehe ❤
I don't care how annoying rotaries sound to most people, they're music to my ears
Es adictivo escucharlo. Muy bueno!
What is all done to the car engine and cooling wise? Also, sohn adapter or premix and oem omp?
Amazing how it handles the curves! Love the noise 😮
Super Video 👍🏻
Gibt es zu diesem Auto ein paar technische Daten?
alles nur aus dem Video geschätzt: ca. 1.250kg, 250 - 300 PS, 13B Renesis Streetport
@@speedrider0101das is ganz sicher kein streetport, periphal oder half Bridge
Is that a renesis moving like that or a rew ?
factory rx8 only came with renesis although idk about this car lol

Best cars ever made.
BAD ASSSS!!!! 🔥
rotary engine..?
Which 13b? Msp? Stock?
Did I hear turbo? What's under the hood?
Which exhaust

hybrid built?
Great! I think you need larger tire profile and main pair 4.77 (R3) or you can use main pair from KIA sportage
How many rotors?
13B (2-Rotor)
3rotory?
stock engine, 13b msp with a street porting (i think)

sounds like a 3 rotor to me... I have a straight piped stock engine RX-8 and it sounds very different

Any guesses on how long it lasts before losing compression? LOL
At least it doesnt sound like a damn four cylinder lmao

I've had the same engine in my track car for 10 years. Never been rebuilt.
