Gary I have played Blade guitars since 1988, I bought a secondhand R4 and I have used it for every gig since then. I play covers in pubs and clubs professionally , I have never found a more versatile guitar and I have played them all and own most other makes, but I always come back to my Blade every time , amazing groundbreaking instrument. Sustain, versatility, sound, playability and they look great, thankyou for giving me that gift to express myself.
What a guy . I’ve got an 80s blade Misty violet. Single coils . And it’s the best guitar I’ve ever had .and that includes a 74 strat and a les Paul trad pro .
Gary makes some great guitars bought rh2 years ago beautiful playing guitar great necks so versatile great sound had a few guitars over the years plays a lot better than a lot of fenders evan the customs keeping this one would regret if I sold it
I have an RH4. The thing to note about the Falcon trem is that there's a noticeable stop point in the centre. You can dive-bomb and you can pull up, but you can't use it for subtle vibrato that moves smoothly from sharp to flat because of the stop point in the centre. So I have my bridge set to float, and consequently don't get any of the benefits of the Falcon.
Phil Brannigan i love the sound and the looks but i have the same problem! It just wont feel natural to me and i really have to put strength in a subtile floating tremolo move wich means its not subtile anymore i notice this myself and i think the audience to
I’m a big fan of Blades and own four - a T2 from ‘88, an R2 from ‘89, a 1994 RH4 and a ‘97 Texas Vintage 62, all great guitars. Found this vexes both interesting and informative, but where is Part 2? I assume it exists but I cannot find it on here. Please post it, want to know more about the Texas series. Thanks to Gary and crew for making great guitars
The falcon trem seems to be a real game changer! Would love to get my hands on one to put it through its paces. :) One question though - where's part 2 of the video?

Best Strats ever! ... I have my R4 since '88, and I still love it! Thanks a lot Gary!
I HAVE A BLADE TEXAS STANDARD PRO SERIAL NUMBER 132873. DO YOU KNOW HOW TO SAY WHAT YEAR IS AND WHERE IT WAS BUILT?
Where is part 2?!
Yes. Where is Part 2. I have a Texas and was hanging out to see Gary talk about it!
Could not find it on web. I have Texas Standard Pro as well. Any link from anyone on part 2?

I’ve got an 80s blade . I sent email to the company and they told me year and place of manufacture.
