Beating Mucktorok in DS system would be an absolute nightmare.
It is like cranking up annoyance of Elden Beast to eleven.
This guy is only a wuss in TotK thanks to many of Link's abilities with a help of Sidon, but especially Zonai hydrants. All hail hydrants.

Thank you for making the goofy version of this theme sound absolutely terrifying, I love it.
Does anyone else enjoy rematching mucktorok by chasing him down on a monocycle hydrant 🚿🛞 and then jumping off for bullet time?

The mucktorok was cool conceptually, being a goofy octopus that turns into a shark, but it was way too tedious and kinda easy IMO because of the low gravity and because once you get the hang of it, it’s not hard but it alongside Marbled Gohma just take too many hits without the sensation you’re in actual danger like the Queen Gibdo. The boss rematch makes it slightly harder because you don’t have low gravity, but once you have the hang of it, it just becomes tedious AF.

Just enough of the jovial high pitched chimes removed to make it adequately intense, just enough prolonged trumpet notes to make it more ominous, really strong drums like Darkbeast Paarl, and an ABSOLUTE BANGER final Phase transition
I'm probably only hearing Darkbeast Paarl since it's one of the only From Soft songs I like that DOESN'T use 3:4 / 6:8 or tons of triplets. You did a fantastic job

In master mode, Mucktorok should have an attack where it summons mini-muck-gyorgs that home in on Link and are defeated with water the same as all other muck.
