love his voice, first saw a video when i was checking out Joe Bonamassa playing with Mike's Screamin Cheetahs in 2001, just ordered his newer stuff, love gospel and blues. It would be great to see him join join Joe B on stage at one of his concerts like John Hiatt did in NYC. Mike seemed impressed with Joe back then.
Rare to hear a cover sound as good as an original, but I would say he's on par with Sam Cooke on this tune. The emotion pours of of both of these men. Brought a tear to my eye. Gorgeous indeed.
