Owner of a new RSQ3 here, also the 5 cylinder! There is RS3, RSQ3 and limited Cupra Formentor VZ5 - the only cars with 5 cylinders being produced nowadays. So it's not only RS3!

In general Cupra is Seat, so it's Spanish, but VW Group ofc, so German ;)

My Megane RS (Stock) does 295 km/h with 300hp on 6th gear. It does not pick them up as fast as this but still does reach them.

Got them on my RS3 8Y. You have to push hard on the pedal in the wet, catches me out sometimes. They are good, but I'm not sure that necessary for road use.
@@mauricetoussaint7283 i’m on my second f80 m3 and having the carbon ceramics definitely dulls the pedal feel so i easily feel you. i usually have to usually push a bit harder if brakes aren’t hot already (from my experience).
i don’t think they are a must but if you’re someone who drives above 140 mph regularly it’s definitely worth it, hard breaking fades so fast on the steel brakes . for regular driving the steels r completely good

As a Chevy guy who also owns a tuned Audi, the C8 brings raw excitement that this RS3 will never give you. It’s just a different experience by design!

Autobild Sportcars did a test on this MTM RS3: it has a massive Turbo lag. Stock Golf 8 R is faster as this MTM RS3 e.g. 60-100 kmh in 4. or 5. gear

@@rv9990 Yeah, about 10-15k. But these pops and bangs are illegal, so driving the car like this in Germany is forbidden and gets you fucked pretty quickly. So is the valve controller.

I don't like and will never like the "Wagon Wheel" design on anything but a horse drawn Wagon.

I love these Youtubbers. They do crazy shit to their cars so we don't have to. In this case they hotrod a little 5 popper with sky-high boost and a tune. Predictably, the motor goes boom within 4 or 5 months. If anything, it's entertaining.

How long would a 2.5 last running this much horsepower? You have to be made out of money to spend this much on a car that will probably blow up fairly soon.
It’s not a KIA or Hyundai, these cars are over engineered and the standard block is built more than strong enough to handle this much power and more every day of the week.

You're running 250HP+ per liter instead of 160HP per liter, an increase of 60% of an already high HP/liter number (think that Honda K20's run 100ish from factory). I dont care how much faith you put into a brand, these engines are not overbuilt enough to run that for 200-300K without needing several rebuilds along the way. They wont immediately blow up, but to think you can daily this till the wheels fall off, is copium at best. Meaning the point still stands, that you need to be able to afford several rebuilds. What is more likely, is that the original owner already moved on, and some poor sod buying it second hand gets to rebuild it.
Con rods through the side of the block me thinks unless they have replaced them with forged ones (and pistons)

Best you do some research on these engines, what people achieve with them and what builders do with them to understand how strong they are built from factory already and what they can achieve. For the record I’ve seen an unopened engine tuned to over 900hp so what this one is putting out is pretty safe.

I just watch a couple of your videos. You need to go visit couple of Arab countries to see real tuning cars/suv’s. Eu manufacturer cars are just a joke to be tuned. When I was in one of Arab country in the Middle East I have ask guys there why they are not tune Eu cars. They are just laugh so hard. Then they have show me a real power in Nissan, Toyota, Lexus…. SUV’s with more than 1300 hp which they are driving regular in the traffic every day. And that Japanese engines can last for ever 🙌🏻👏🏻
That may be true, but I'd imagine due to the endless amounts of money floating around the Middle East (at least with the people buying these types of cars), they're not concerned about longevity of their motors. They're disposable cars.

They have very old cars/SUV’s even from 2000 in mint condition with original block and tune up parts with a lot of km/miles on the clock worth more than 200.000 euro only in tune up parts. And they love that cars as I love my dog. Also when i was in Thailand they tune up Nissan, Isuzu old SUV diesel engines to 700 - 800 hp and power and racing with them in a small boats. That engines last also for ever. Even in drag race in States they using only Ford and Japanese engines. I think that i have explain everything.

Does the driver of this vehicle still “moan” with excitement when, for example, he drove into a bridge pillar at 300 km/h because of a burst tire on his vehicle?!? We do not know it! The fact is that this frenzy is absolutely unnecessary and only puts the driver of this vehicle and other road users in unnecessary danger! In my opinion, 150 km/h is a sufficient speed limit given appropriate weather conditions and appropriate signage!!!
