Why can’t people see that grimes plays so much better when the ball is moving. He always gets fewer shots with randall and rj out there together
You have short term memory randle has been doing a good job driving and kicking but this team is hit or miss you noticed grimes way more these past few games because he stopped trying to be pass first to much when he’s not wide open how many times I’ve seen him have a good drive to the lane just to pass it

Usually never advise a player to be selfish. But when it comes 2 Grimes. He needs 2 be selfish on the offensive end.

I don’t think it’s Brunson or Josh Hart I think it’s just him trying to fit into the starting lineup. He’s been a little bit of a struggle with his shot and now it’s getting crunch time and it’s getting to his head. I think he’s going to break out because he’s been showing signs of doing what he’s capable of doing last week. It is the first time he’s in the starting lineup as there’s a lot of variables that come into play here, but to think it’s Brunson or Hart isn’t accurate IMO he’s had open looks he’s just been missing. Think about it I’ve been seeing his teammates trying to get him going but how many times can we see him miss before they are forced to sit him. I have faith he’ll be fine he reminds me of a streaky Starks is his prime. If he becomes more consistent Thibs will play him more that’s a fact. Thibs will play the best available players he’s got that has the best chance of getting the win. In coach’s eyes every game is a playoff game, that’s how he views the game and why he’s so intense all the time during a game. With that said I’m in the minority by being a huge supporter of Thibs coaching style he’s been preparing these young guys for the playoffs since day 1. It’s now up to the players to execute. We aren’t there yet but we are ascending regardless of what happens in this year’s playoffs. Me personally I just want to see an improvement from 2 years ago win or lose I want to see them perform at a higher level than they did against the Hawks.
How is it that the best shooter on a team that can't shoot. Doesn't get enough shots. Who's fault is that.
Grimes and RJ's usage should basically be exchanged. Grimes's scoring efficiency is comfortably above league average, while RJ's is at the bottom of the league among high-volume scorers. The fact that RJ attempts twice as many shots as Grimes is developmental malpractice, and absurdity.
Grimes needs to increase whIle RJ needs to decrease in importance to our NYK. In Grimes I trust
