    Everybody makes this process seem so complicated.. In less than 60 seconds I now feel like an expert! :-O

      hah! Yea there's no need to make it overly complicated :)

      So from the notification I saw "Okay but can I just say" and I thought "oh okay, what have I done wrong now", then I click the notification and the first word I saw was "crap" and thought "oh this one's a rude one"... Then I read it all and was pleasantly surprised haha thanks!

    If you want super sampling use double the resolution you want in the document size then use Medium instead of Large whenever you record the turntable. Idk if this gives better or worse edges than using BPR alone.

    • @DannyMac3d
      @DannyMac3d  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      fusobotic hmm, that's interesting. Is using medium the equivalent of AAHalf?

    • @DannyMac3d
      @DannyMac3d  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      fusobotic in my original script for this tutorial I was using AAHalf but kept the output size large and couldn't work out why I still got aliasing. Sound like you just gave me the answer, I'll test this out later, thanks!

    Whenever I record a movie, my model always is either cut off at the sides (too zoomed in), or its way smaller on my movie (too zoomed out) than it is as I view it on my screen. Either way, what I'm looking at on my document isn't what Zbrush records. I can't figure out why.

    How do you setup a turntable in Blender or any other 3d software (aware of the common methods) but my question is, how do you set it up so you have a clean front, profile, rear, 3/4th views etc.
    Depending on the duration of frames the front, profile, 3/4th and rear frame don't fall on the exact values/views of the model (0, 45, 90, 135, 180)
    Is there a better way to mathematically calculate this?

    Is this different for ZBrush 2022? When I go to load an image plane, it doesn't make a new tool like it does in the video and acts as though I'm still using my character tool, so I can't snapshot it without also snapshotting the character, and I can't redraw my character back in without hitting ctrl-n, which of course removes the image plane entirely. If I somehow manage to successfully draw in the character with the background, it goes away as soon as I render BPR whether I have the background on in the lights panel or not. I really love the succinct explanations of everything and the rest of the turntable functionality is easy-peasy, I just can't seem to get this one step to work

    If you’ve got the money I recommend getting marmoset. Fantastic video though, pretty much taught me an hours worth of uni lectures in a minute.

    • @DannyMac3d
      @DannyMac3d  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for that! I actually prefer offline path-tracer rendering so Marmoset isn't really where I want to go, but I've seen some amazing results from it!
