    thanks for the comment, I've made a few changes since this video. 4 inch narrowed limebug beam, rear bags added, new leather interior.

    like that system. you post that you have a 4" narrowed beam how did you install air shocks with a narrower beam, did you cut the body to allow the shock towers to fit

    Hi! Really nice bug!! What kind of shocks you're using in rear end??

    • @JohnnyType2

      firestone air bags, i think they are rated 2500lbs each

      Are absorbers replaced by those or how you did the support arms etc?

      no just the front shocks replaced with air shocks, the rear has a cradle to hold the bags attached by the swing arms and under the chassis.

    One more thing. Which viair system did you use...medium or heavy. and did it come with everything needed for your shocks

    • @JohnnyType2
      @JohnnyType2  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      i used medium, in hindsight i wouldnt fit anything less than 200psi to be honest. and at least a four way system as the ride does feel soft with just front and back

    How many valves are in there at the moment? Do you have and independent system or both side (left and right) at the same time?

      Just front and back at the moment but i am changing to a 3/8 system with two 480C viair compressors 200 psi, Airlift V2 auto leveller with FBSS (independent front back side to side, soon stay tuned.

      Thanks for your prompt answer. But you have 2 valves for front and 2 for rear, right? 4 air valves just to do the up and down together in each case. Am I right?

      Jorge Torres yes two fill valves and two exhaust. This whole system is forsale if anyone wants it.

    I bought an car with an air ride installed in it and the electric wire that goes to it is disconnected. Do you know where that wire goes? The compressor has no electricity to pump the tank where do I connect the wire to? Thank you

      can you take a picture and send it to johnny @ earlybay . com, its hard to tell without seeing it. There should be a pressure switch that controls the pump.

    What size air lines and valves are you using? 1/4 or 3/8?

    • @johnnymorris3546
      @johnnymorris3546 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      1/4 but i wouldn't do 1/4 again, too slow up and down, i have a replacement system and I'm going 3/8 or 1/2 pipe.
