    Amid "The Great Disappointment," I find comfort in Jesus' teachings from Luke 7:24-26, which begs the question, "What did you come out to see?" This inquiry urges us to deepen our faith beyond looking for signs, encouraging us to trust in His words as reflections of His true nature. Although many ministers reference verses 18-23 as proof of His Messiahship, it's worth reflecting on our genuine motivation for seeking Him.

      Trying isn't good enough you must surrender your life to Christ completely. If it doesn't work read it again, if that don't work read more amd pray, problem is your still clicking on to that lifestyle, you need to pray and ask for deliverance from old ways.

      Just like Sarah turnd vacation and became a pillar of salt know that the Lord chastened who He loves and of you keep it up don't be surprised when that but whipping comes friend. I used to have the same problem and He delivered me completely from that lifestyle.

    33:46 ❤ when I was a single and in my 30s I started going to an adventist church ❤ I saw so many men and women of all ages and I have to admit ..it took about 2 months of observation before I realized that a couple were married.😂😂😂 I'm not tge chasing crazy type 😂😂😂so there was no issue 😂😂but I did think to myself, what if I had went over and talked to this man😂😂😂 because he wasn't tagged as taken ..so a wedding ring should be ok❤it stops potential coveting, or future accidental offenses ❤😂😂

    Greetings from Serbia! 🇷🇸 May God's blessings be upon you all.
    I have a question about the concept of time after the first resurrection. Here on Earth, we measure time based on our planet's orbit around the Sun. However, in the context of the "special place" prepared for the saved, where a thousand years will pass, how will time be measured? Will there be a different system of timekeeping in this eternal realm?

    The children of Israel knew no other life outside of Egyt and really didn't want to leave but they wanted deliverance from the oppression of slavery. So God intentionally hardened the pharaohs heart against the people to get them willing to leave and return to Canaan

    • @charlesmartel5520
      @charlesmartel5520 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      God set up circumstances that would cause Pharaoh to harden his own heart. Ultimately Pharaoh had a choice. He could have let God's people go from the very beginning before he allowed himself to harden his heart by rejecting God's command to let Israel go.

    PASTOR DOUG, How can you say its a sin for a woman to wear pants??? They did not have pants when Bible was written EVERYONE worn gowns and DRESSES back then. What that passage meant was for a woman not to be like a man and try to look like one. I.E ,.. LGBTQ

    • @Bella-yb6gg
      @Bella-yb6gg 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      BTW sins are based off the ten commandments and no place says anything about woman wearing jeans, thats man made sin not Gods word. Gods word says He looks at the heart and man looks at the outside, such as what a person is wearing.

    Similarities of the timing of Israel, Judah, and the Reformation
    70 to 80 year, 49 year, 490 year, 7 year, and 40 year time periods
    --Israel
    First 80 years
    Moses is born and then leaves his family and is taken to the house of Pharaoh about 12 years later. From Moses’ birth to the Exodus is 80 years
    490 year period
    First 49 years of the 490 year period: From the Exodus until the Israelites are established in the land of Canaan is about 49 years
    7 year time period near the end of the 490 time period: 480 years after the Exodus, Solomon began to build the house of the LORD. 1Ki 6:1. 7 years later the structure was finished. A couple years later he finished his own house/ palace
    40 year time period near the end of the 490 time period
    Solomon reigned for 40 years. At the end of his reign the house of Israel fell apart into 2 parts.
    --Judah
    First 80 years
    Fall of Babylon about 539 BC. Shortly after (probably a couple years later) the children of Israel are allowed to return to the land of Israel. Then about 80 years later comes the decree of Artaxerxes to restore and rebuild Jerusalem in 457 BC
    490 year period
    First 49 years of the 490 year period: 49 years after 457 BC is the end of the first 7 weeks of the 70 week prophecy of Dan 9. This is likely when Judah was re-established in the land of Israel.
    7 year time period at the end of the 490 year time period: 483 years from 457 BC is 27 AD when Christ began his public ministry at his baptism. 3.5 years later Christ is crucified. Then 3.5 years later Steven is stoned and persecution spreads the gospel to the world.
    40 year time period near the end of the 490 year time period
    Christ is rejected by the multitude the day after the feeding of the 5 thousand around 30 AD. John 6:66. About 40 years later was the fall and destruction of Jerusalem (70 AD).
    --The Reformation
    First 80 years
    The Gutenberg printing press is invented about 1440. Sections of the bible are printed and then the Gutenberg bible is finished about 1455. Luther distributes his 95 thesis in 1517 which marks the beginning of the reformation. From 1440 to 1517 is about 80 years (77 years).
    490 year period
    First 49 years of the 490 year period:
    Protestantism is established in many countries during about the first 49 years after 1517.
    Some examples:
    1541 John Calvin is invited to settle in Geneva, Switzerland
    Peace of Augsburg 1555 in Germany
    1530s Henry VIII separated the Church of England from Rome. Mary I brought England back to Rome for some years. Then in 1558 Elizabeth I returned England to Protestantism.
    7 year time period at the end of the 490 year time period:
    484 years from fall of 1517 is the fall of 2001. 9/11, 2001 fall of the Twin Towers.
    Dec 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami- Worst ever Tsunami caused by one of the largest earthquakes ever. 2005 Hurricane Katrina- most expensive Hurricane ever. 2008 housing market crash.
    Will there be another 40 year time period near the end of this 490 year time period?

    Pastor Doug net worth is $10 million as of 2023. What is he doing sitting with that money? He's flooding his supporters with mail asking for donations. What will he do when Jesus ask him go sell all your properties and give it to the poor like Jesus said to Nicodemus. Someone please ask him.

      I’m wondering why you’re worried about Pastor Bachelors bank account. I am pretty sure that Doug bachelor is not behind even one dollar in his tithes and offerings to the Lord. Can you or I say the same thing? The accountability of Pastor Bachelor’s finances are between him and God alone, just like our financial responsibility is between us and God. God bless in your seeking after truth.

    • @judyhilliard7013
      @judyhilliard7013 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      One more thing: if you have ever listened to Pastor Doug‘s testimony, you would know that his financial stability is from an inheritance from his extremely wealthy father. Any money that Pastor Doug has in the bank, he has not been stealing money from the coffers of the Lord, also, Pastor Doug only had one brother who was to share in their fathers inheritance, but unfortunately, his brother died of a lung disease. I’m sure that Pastor Doug would much rather have a lot less money in the bank and still have his beloved brother with him today.

      @@judyhilliard7013 It's not a sin to be rich. If it were, @jefis would have to ask Abraham, Job, and David the same question. Abraham had so much cattle that God had to separate him and his nephew Lot. Job had been very rich before his sickness, and after he was healed God gave him TWICE as much!!
