Solid advice! Thank you so much. I took notes in my journal :) I really appreciated the "permission to say no" because I always eat more to not make someone else feel bad haha

So welcome! Yep the “permission to say no and take the plate to go” is a tummy saver and boundary setter lol 😊

These are gems and so resonates with me. I do have one concern, however, that is appeasing the food Pusher and offering that I would take food to go, what if it's not a vital food as you covered in another video I watched today, L.I.V.E., is it alright for me to just Chuck it once I get home? I don't believe in wasting but I also have embraced a concept that my sister-in-law has shared with me with us both being on a weight loss journey, and that is we're not going to be garbage disposals. I would appreciate your feedback on that thank you so much. 🤲🏾💞🙏🏽🌹🤲🏾

Oh I absolutely love this comment! So in following the L.I.V.E.principle, if it’s not a Vital food then yes it’s absolutely okay to say no thank you and not take the food. Appeasing and people pleasing is another part of the weight loss process. Sometimes the weight isn’t just physical, it’s emotional and mental too. I’ve worked with clients in my Mindful Nutrition School who had to lose the emotional weight of people pleasing before they could drop the pounds. I offer classes and community checks ins for those in the weight wellness process, feel free to join us! The information is in my newsletter, you can sign up at www.mindfulplate.tv
