I'm not surprised that you think bts blew up really fast, as people just learning about them, but actually they grew really steadily! They debuted almost 8 years ago and have a slow steady rise to the top. even the number of international fans grew steadily, however people who weren't fans of kpop already started hearing about them in 2017 when they first went to the billboard awards. After that they've gotten so popular that to many it seems like they just exploded in popularity suddenly :)
Pandemic aside, I would simultaneously love and hate to do a zombie run for Halloween, or whenever. Like, being scared and low key falling prey to my own fears that zombies could be real, it'd be awesome to do with friends. But I hate crowds and going out in public, so that's not so fun. I'll settle for re-watching episode 24 of "Run BTS!" and watch them deal with zombies instead.

I'm not going to hold a gun to your head (as with any huge fanbase we're bad in sections, but most of us are pretty sane) 😅 Just to clarify, success wasn't all that sudden for these boys. 2013 they debuted, ~2015 ish they had a decent cult following around when they released the album Dark and Wild and they started making connections in America within hiphop (is it too early to let these guys know about AHL? 😂).The HYYH albums marked a huge transition in style, moving away from pure hip hop which helped the vocalists express themselves. 2016 Wings was a huge deal with Blood Sweat and Tears breaking MV records.... 2018 is when I really bought into BTS and they attracted western features like Desiigner and Nicki Minaj. They've broken record after record since, going from genre to genre. They play with different musical styles - I might not like Dynamite but Dis-ease on the same album is drastically different (imo) in terms of originality, style and meaning. - a lot of these clips were taken from Run BTS, their variety show. Everything weird and wonderful is on there from the zombie escape mission you saw, to cooking contests, to watersports, to whodunnit roleplay games. (My timeline may well be a bit rusty in terms of years,correct me other ARMY!)
