Price increases are not fun. Webflow is adding more value on top of existing functionality, which is really appreciated/expected.
We trust you will make the best for the platform to grow and keep the community together.
This was the perfect opportunity to show your appreciation for your community as well. Grandfathering existing sites seems like the perfect approach.
This is opening the question in our minds about supplementing our practice with other less expensive options.

Enterprise pricing seems like a dirty secret.

Anyone looking to save some bucks and hasn’t looked at replacing After Effects with Fable yet should look into that. I’ve had a good, slightly buggy, experience so far but the UI is brilliant and much less daunting to digest while working.

yes. it is. if your are looking to work into it for a market like. Brazil. it's really a struggle to be paid accordingly. .. I work for the states with webflow. :) so for me is fine. but i don't see opening an agency on Brazil to soon

For me it’s simple. If you use it as a tool for professional use then just increase your prices for your client to acomodate the profit margin.

@@tidragos i agree! Maybe webflow team should consider adding some kind of freelancer payment tear

Not sure what all the huge fuss is about. It's only a small price increase for an awesome tool that can make designers a good income. I love Webflow so hoping they are cashed up so they stick around and develop the platform for their users. Freelancers and design agencies that are complaining about this price hike need to start thinking like an entrepreneur and understand that all successful companies need to continually boost their bottom line, and so do you as a business person. To me, the price to use the tool is peanuts compared to what it makes for me!

I don't need workspaces, at least right now but i do need the 10 projects download codes and so on. It is expensive tbh

I mean price is relative but definitely not “expensive” if compared to like Adobe Creative cloud or Cinema 4D or any other pro programs

@@jacobkummer2067 they are, but at least you have blender or afinity designer, i can't imagine using elementor as a replacement, but Framer is coming with good stuff so it's okay.

@@howuseehim I mean to some extent. But those programs aren’t as powerful, don’t sync, etc. At some point you gotta pay for stuff if you want to be a professional

@@jacobkummer2067 yeah for sure, but just to clear things up with blender it is used by big companies like Qualcomm, or Disney totally free. I don't know about affinity soft tho.

      @jacobkummer2067 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@howuseehim Yes and no to Blender. Technically free, although those big studios donate large sums of money. Affinity Pro nobody uses professionally other than a few individual freelancers. File types are main issue.

If Webflow is your #1 platform then you don't need to pay for adobe. Save some costs on replacing Adobe with Affinity.

OK, let's make a few things clear here. Let's say you make web pages on top of Wordpress. You have ten customers who don't know anything about the web and they want the website to stay under your control. In Wordpress, you need to know the login information for each customer's website (and not to mention plug-in updates that can paralyze an entire website), or you'll take a service like Manage WP, which is easier if there is no block (whitelist-blacklist situation).
You only need to log in to your Webflow account to verify the accounts of other customers. And in addition, these customers have small advantages in keeping their website on your account, such as downloading website code, changing form data (settings). otherwise they would have to pay for the account plan. This is where you can charge each customer, for example, an additional annual fee to keep your account budget zero +. '
I've been with Webflow for two and a half years now and I don't want to look back.
I just bought one Wordress site for an experiment, just to try it out. It looked good. I wanted to change the year of the titles and delete one section. It took almost 2 days and I couldn't do it anywhere, the one who sold it to me told me if I couldn't do it, don't touch it, otherwise the whole site would collapse. I could say happy ending! ;)
One thing I support is that the price of a Basic page could go down a bit. (for the advantage of a competitor and the people who experiment)
Webflow has changed my confidence in what I can deliver to customers. Thank you!
