The Report is 93 % facing loss and only 7 % made profit,, but do you think why all people still continue / doing f&o ? Bcoz the 7% profit makers changing every year, if someone faced loss and comes under 93% they may be comes under 7% profit makers next year, so all people faced profit zone and running to catch Bumper lottery, But reality is different... All amount goes to Brokerage and tax... Ha ha
True...i had addiction towards day trading long before. But after following shyam sir , I totally came out from day trading .I slowly understand that money making is slow and steady process. Thank you shyam sir.
A well intentioned message which could use better presentation to get the point across better. Rattling off a series of numbers may be overwhelming.
Some suggestions:
* Visual comparison
* Comparing each profit-making group (and their profits) with their corresponding loss-making groups or the overall loss (as graphics on the side)
* Using percentages along with absolute numbers.
What happened to the other 1 lakh crore ? Who earned that profit ? I mean people have lost 1.4 lakh crore, somebody should have gained from it, right ?
Better analogy for trading against these big institutions will be like Charlie Munger said. "We will be like a single legged man in a ass kicking competition".

1 doubt, F & O is a zero sum game. Going by the numbers shared, some one should have made profit for the losses incurred by retail participants. Is it safe to assume FIIs made those profits, if this is true they have no reason to invest in stocks. They can continue minting money in derivatives market.
That's not correct, Full Loss amount will not go to profit makers, around 25% goes to Brokerage and tax , so finally Brokers and Govt gets major amount.
