Also for them claiming to have seen the lights not working just do a FOIA request and see the dash-cam/bodycam footage from them to see if the lights were working.
Kwesi Bouie professionally only means he gets paid to ride, as a motorcycle cop, he is technically riding professionally, cops were the biggest dicks tho
Kwesi Bouie the cops comment had nothing to do with the lights. If you ridden for 40+ years you should know that you can't turn those lights off. He even looked for a cut off switch and couldn't find one.
8:41 Good Lord if all cops were as friendly as this gentleman was people would LOVE cops! This is the nicest cop I've ever seen online or in person. His department should seriously put him in charge of training other cops on how to interact with the public.
That's pretty typical for Austin PD. There are some tremendously nice cops, and most are reasonable and kind, but then others like the last ones who seem to over-compensate for the good guys.
i wonder why... they are getting paid to steal money from citizens who ALREADY PAY THEIR DAMN SALARIES... the least they could do is be fucking nice to their bosses eh???
i hope you're joking... just cuz you get your salary from the government doesn't make tax payers their boss. Cops pay taxes just like everyone else does, so at least that makes them equals, just one's job is to enforce the law.
LOL sounds like you have never lived in the suburbs. Every city cop I've ever met has actual crime to deal with. First cop let him go, second gave him a warning, third and fourth gave him tickets. Can't ask for better than that.
I love how the cop at 15:00 gives his 'creds' and gets all high and mighty about knowing his bikes. Then asks the year/make/model. I would have been a fucking smartass and said "You tell me, Mr 40 year Pro".
it was still illegal what he did. its illegal to change lanes within 100ft of an intersection. Plus he was being a douche for not waiting in the line like just wait dude
yeah and like i couldn't even understand the bullshit tickets he got, you can hear the cop wasn't proud and wrote him some bullshit citations that clearly weren't "running the red light" at the end there... hgow fucking corrupt.

The officer at 10:00 was so nice...it's almost like you are at a doctor's office and he's like "if you want to sit on your bike, you can, if you want to stand, you can, be comfortable" "look at all of these options and choose the one that is best"
yeah it's amazing. i had no issue paying my ticket from the nice cop, i did wrong, i got caught, no need to be a dick about it. When the cops are dicks though, it makes it even worse :/
evo Some people are just dicks. You gotta wade through the dicks to get to the nice people I guess. Like out of all the clips 1 was really nice, the 1st guy in this video could have gone either way and 2 were just scumbags. And in all honesty look at who were the douches, the motorcycle cops. Don't know why, maybe it doesn't mean anything, I have a feeling it does.
They have dashcams in their cars, legally every police car has to. The only way to obtain the actual camera footage is to go through the sheriffs office, and by that time the video is "Corrupted" or it "wasn't recording". Luckily his gopro was on and you can see the lights reflecting off the street signs when he drives by so he can prove they were on.
It is irrelevant if the cops have cameras or not on their vehicles. Just look how many cases a year that the dash cam "wasn't working' of "the data got corrupted" In situations like this, it is the cops word that is everything. Always.
I have been riding since 13. I have been pulled over twice and i am 22 now. This guy is just very unlucky because cops target bikers. We have "Traffic officers" They cannot arrest you but they can give you a fine.
I've been riding only a few years. Commute 60-80 miles a day, obey the traffic laws and haven't been pulled over. It surely couldn't be his driving habits... /s
yeah i ride aggressively, but respectfully too...generally, everything i do has zero impact on any other road user, however the level of driving ability here is so so bad, it's easy to 'slip'.
evo I was like you. Avoided accidents no problem and July 8th got hit on my right leg by a drunk driver speeding to overtake the person in his lane so he was in my lane speeding towards me. Broken femur/fibula/tibula. Ride safe.
15:10 "look dude. I've been riding for 40 years. 20 professionally. don't tell me i don't know what kind of bike this is, or that I'm confusing it for something else" 10 seconds later "what kind of bike is this?"
I would like to point out that the coolest cops are in Texas. As someone who lives in Texas I can honestly say they're really relaxed if you show them respect

evo I have an FCR MX on mine, was one of the first things I put on my DRZ alongside a K&N and a Yoshimura RS4.. you'll find it runs so much better than the standard Mikuni BSR. I had mine set up on a Dyno - took them 8 hours to get the fuelling perfected as they had to keep taking the carb off to change the jets. The throttle response improves dramatically and it removes the jerkiness from the lower gears. Gave me an added 10bhp.
In this country, horns are for alerting others of an dangerous situation, and not a tool for provoking an emotional reaction. You may have avoided being pulled over had you not laid on it for so long.
I feel bad for you guys. Here in France we can filter as much as we want anywhere as long as you are not an asshole while doing that. I don't remember myself waiting once behind some cars at a red light.. What you did at 12:30 I probably do that 10 times a day pretty much the entire week. Sorry America !
yeah i got a lawyer and it went to court (it always does). The lights 'issue' was dismissed and the 'traffic control' one i have to pay, but i took defensive driving to dismiss it, still costs a fucking fortune though :/
evo I know m8, I got a expensive speeding ticket well over $200 for going 75 on a 55 up this mountain lol. Cop didn't car one bit and just wanted his paycheck for the week, even though it was only me on the road for along time.
funny your lights weren't working pause at 12:42 you can see them on the back of the car that cut you up cops do like to try it ay lol, you should have mentioned that car and that they were on there phone just to see what they really seen lol.
"You're lights were not on" Uhm. Do they know their own laws? Most bikes don't have a light switch anymore, as in most countries, you must have your light on at all times. It turns on automatically with the ignition. Lol they're idiots.
they definitely lied to you about your lights it was just something to pull you over because when you look at the car that day but you were in the car probably call the cops and that you were going through legs in other words they call the cops tell them kind of like you're wrong it's been done to me before million times and then they say that all the time and now that's why there was two cops pulling you over instead of one!... Because that guy that cut you off and you were wrong and every day because he was in the wrong the car was in a wrong anyway the point of what I'm getting at is that the a****** in the car probably told them your plate and I'm going to call the cops on a dispatcher the dispatcher called little motorcycle police to catch up to you because sometimes people with Supermoto motorcycles always seem to get away or run so basically in other words they pulled you over for b******* and it was probably because of that a****** that cut you off!!..
I agree. The cops in this video gave him plenty of breaks. Finally one nailed your dumb ass with a ticket. It was long overdue. And the did not even ticket him additionally on beeping at and flipping off that driver, which is road rage.
alan30189 the driver that pulled out was in the wrong. He didnt have enough time to safely get onto the road and he also went straight to the second lane, no signal. How did the cops give him so many breaks?
guys just b/c there cops dont mean they can be dicks about it and lie about some lights and that they seen him no there being dicks and want to give someone a hard them and to fill tickets b/c that what greedy dicks do
Cop in the last part, "I've been riding for 40 years and 20 of that professionally". I would have asked him how old he was, why he gave up riding professionally for being a bike cop in the rain and then turned on all the lights in front of him on camera like some other commenters have said. You keep cool and I kept blurting out shit as if I was there lol. I'm a huge smartass to cops that ask dumb shit and accuse me of crap like that. "we've seen you do this 4 times in the last 2 weeks", I would have been like yeah!?, well you can't ticket me for that now, so next time just pull me over. Some cops have power trips and "their always right" mentality.
Austin Austin Texas. The first three were Austin city Police, and the last one was Sheriffs department. Two different departments. The Sheriff is the only that is elected by the people. I believe they actually have more authority than the city or state police, so if the state went tyrannical, the Sheriff could override it. Of course, their power is under political attack from the state today. They want it all baby.
"Don't act like I don't know what kind of bike this is"
Then proceeds to ask "what kind of bike is this?"

I don't think that's what he meant, he probably meant don't tell him he doesn't recognize it. The guy was cheating traffic and lied about it.

that third cop was awesome. they all should be like that, helping the community not treating everyone like a criminal.
He was but he still gave the biker a ticket and honestly I don't blame the cop for that. SPEEDING=TICKET ALL THE WAY!!

matt simon yeah especially compared to the last one

12:43 you can see his lights are on from the reflection of the car...
First guy gets annoyed at someone lightly cutting him off, then dangerously cuts off a car... Stupid
And then the next clip his him cutting traffic by passing on the right where it's one lane. What a loser.
cop: we wouldnt lie to you *laughs*

hah, you're actually right! never realised that!

Murica. Gotta be stopped 3 times a day or it makin moneeeeyyyyy

BIKES BLADES/GUN'S annnd breath. but I completely agree
Cop says "Dude"... LOOOL professional AF
Meh, the guy deserved it in the end
viperz888 how so
How did the cops give him so many breaks?
gimme a break, it is not road rage, grow the fuck up
guys just b/c there cops dont mean they can be dicks about it and lie about some lights and that they seen him no there being dicks and want to give someone a hard them and to fill tickets b/c that what greedy dicks do
The third cop seemed like a very nice guy
Sah dude
Mason the Delight was sahhhhh dude
It seems like the rider spends more time paying fines and showing up for court dates than driving. 😂😂.
Anyone else get confused on the British dude driving on the American highway system with the cop who’s wearing a Texas badge and Austria?😂
Austin
Austin Texas.
Cop looks in his 30s " ive been rideing for 85 years lol
Cop: 40 years in the saddle, 20 pro. Blah... Blah... Blahhh!
First guy having that accent probably also helped towards the cop being friendly.
These videos make me wanna get a bike but I don't wanna crash lol.
I'm only 14 and I have my life planed out "me on a supper motto pulling a wheels and a cop right next to me"😂
So how did it turn out?
It's nice to see some cops are friendly
I got pulled over once in 65 years. This dude makes a living doing it
"I've been riding for 40 years, professionally for 20! Don't talk to me like I don't know what I'm talking about. What is this, a DRZ?""It's a DR650."
