- This was my favorite track for the whole movie but the best part of the song (the chanting) only plays toward the end & doesn't last that long. So I decided to do this song justice by extending the chanting part, playing for over 10 minutes. Enjoy!

What's crazy is that the classic pose we see Frieza in here is actually his fighting stance; he's so cocksure, so confident in his power, that he doesn't bother raising his guard and instead openly dares his opponents to attack him.

Don't forget that Frieza is one of two people that Goku has genuinely _hated_ for any length of time.
The other one no longer exists.
I'm not so sure Goku actually _hated_ Frieza, despite all the trouble he caused. If anything, I know Goku actually respected Frieza in regards to his fighting skill, but said it was a waste of his talent to hurt & oppress others.
I can understand Goku hating Frieza after he killed Krillin & went Super Saiyan. But also, don't forget that after Frieza was defeated by his own attack, Goku showed mercy (or pity) for him, enough to give him some of his energy to save himself, only to throw it back in his face.
But after seeing both Resurrection of F & it's DBS equivalent, I really don't think Goku truly hates Frieza that much
I may have been thinking of Super/RoF when I made the post, but I didn't explicitly exclude Namek. Even if it wasn't _just_ killing Krillin, Frieza did threaten Gohan next. At that point I think Goku absolutely *_loathed_* the Emperor.

It's easy to forget now that a lot of villains, as well as Goku and Vegeta, can match him in strength, but Frieza was a truly *terrifying* god-like being when he first appeared. Nobody could even touch him. He was hundreds of leagues beyond the heroes and beat almost everyone multiple times without stopping to recover himself. Even Super Saiyan Goku had trouble and got overpowered a little during their fight, although he held back.
That only applies to the anime. But yeah I see what you mean

True. Although we do not know the power multiplier that the Legendary SSJ gives, it may be superior to the SSJ3...or even the SSJ God...who knows?
Legendary Super Saiyan wasn't really a form, it was just a title given to him because Broly was supposed to be one of the first few saiyans to ever go Super Saiyan & he just happened to be waaay stronger than even Goku or Vegeta. Even now, that title has been taken away from him through reconning from the 'Episode of Bardock' special, making Bardock the 'official' Legendary Super Saiyan now.
When i say Legendary SSJ, i thought about this form img00.deviantart.net/bcef/i/2008/335/8/1/broly__s_forms_v_1_by_sergiopavao.jpg (first from the right) which is different from SSJ1 (second from the right)
That form may either be SS2 (before the concept was finalized) or what was referred to in the Cell Saga as an 'Ascended Saiyan', which was like SS 1.5. It buffed up the user & gave them enormous power at the expense of speed & flexibility. The fact that he's buffed up from the SS1 form supports that idea. In fact, look at Ascended Saiyan Trunks when he fought Cell. He looks an awful lot like Broly's Legendary SS form: images2.wikia.nocookie.net/dragonball/images/e/e9/1SSJ1thirdgrade.jpg

This is easily Friezas best theme, Even one of his best scenes in all of DB. I'm a frieza fanboy and idc, say what you will.
Frost has nothing on Frieza. He would laugh Frost to death.
Odds are Frieza's form is unique to him. But yep, Frost has a lot more fighting experience than Frieza, though he's nowhere near as evil and ruthless. He's more like a dirty businessman than a tyrant. It makes one wonder if Frost will come to see just how evil Frieza is and decide to turn over a new leaf.
It's hard to say. Frieza at 100% after training was able to kind of go toe-to-toe with base Goku, but Frost managed that with his Assault Form. And Frost did it later in the series, so we assume Goku to be at least slightly stronger.
Frost confirmed Trump?
Final Form Frost in the U6 arc was more powerful than Final Form Frieza in the RoF arc. Base Goku was tied with RoF Frieza, but he needed SSJ against Final Form Frost (even if he was using 20% of his full power). Right now, since Frieza got about 10x stronger in Hell, it's possible he surpassed Frost. I'd say they should be in the same ballpark.
Plus, only Frieza has an evolution at this point.

Considering the bad animation quality of Super, I'm willing to bet they have a small budget to work with or Toei Animation is a bunch of lazy idiots who don't care for the series as much as the fans do.
Animebryan2 I read somewhere (either on this video or another just like this) that the composer of this song is the same one that works on super. So it'd be weird that they couldn't just take these songs. I guess maybe they wanted to not have repetition or something? But this track and many of the other movie tracks are so good.
According to the Wikipedia page, 20th Century Fox also has distribution rights to the movie. It's possible they may have the rights to the soundtrack which could explain why it couldn't be used in the series.

A well written villain is a person who has a goal in mind and has an ideology that counters the main character. But Frieza? He's the literal definition of evil. No need for a backstory and goals. He just kills/destroy for fun.

While I love the chanting as well the best part imo is the beginning 0:00-1:49, it gives off this eerie feeling of dread & anticipation. Almost like the characters are nervous & hesitant about fighting him.

I imagine so. Since he's actually stronger than Frieza & has more abilities and potential at his disposal (Saiyan DNA = Zenkai Boost, Namekian DNA = Regeneration), Cell could easily outdo anything Frieza is capable of. This not only includes his golden form but his next form (Black Frieza) as well.

man Frieza gained god like power with 4 months of basically torturing a grunt comparable to at most Zarbon and the least cui, Now imagine how much more powerful he'd be if he did serious training during that 4 months scary to think that years of training and acquiring god like power and surpassing it could be surpassed by Frieza by torturing some guy for 4 months and that's not putting into account how long the breaks in between would be knowing Frieza he could at the very least become SSGSS Gogeta level with probably a year of training he literally has the potential to become the most powerful being in the multiverse

Frieza was already ruling over an empire way before Goku was even born, and Goku was around 24 at the start of Z.
Can you imagine just how OP Frieza would have been had he started to train from a young age? The Namek Saga would have been the end of the story.
