30 years ago I was chisel ploughing on a old coal site with a 8210. Over the road another guy was chisel ploughing with a TW35. Said guy let me have a go. An experience I will never forget, they are a fantastic tractor...
The roads maybe quiet but the sound track coming from the fields is excellent. always a pleasure to watch and listen to you two out working together love it thanks pal.

Spring plowing here in Slovakia its a "necessary sin" because we have much less rainfall than in England. If there is little rain, you will not prepare the soil for sowing. We have diverse soil (mostly heavy and clayey) and of course a different climate. So George, Your plowing is perfect.

I drove a 2013 John Deere 5101E for the first time down the road, the ride is rough as guts, my antique yesterdays tractor a 1973 Massey 1080 is like driving a limousine compared to the JD.
We need the planetary for our tw15 down here in NZ. Blew the annulus apart! So after a second hand unit. Anyone wrecking them up your way? We still using our in 2WD but presently in bits to get tooth counts etc.
Remember years ago when my ole boy used to use a TW-15 q-cab that big flap on exhaust was cool and the puff of black reak from her when she got the welly, Never ever gave any problems at all very reliable tractor just a bit slow at the end up, My goal is to find her and buy her again still got her original number plate lol as a souvenir, Nice set of mudguards really sets Tw's off and also stops so much muck getting up on window when doing alot of roadwork
Do you think the TW will ever move on George. Would have to see it, full refurb in years to come would be brilliant👌 Keep up the great vids and hope you and the family are well in these tough times👍
At the time I was glad to replace it but I always liked it, it certainly gripped better than the TW-25. Best tractor to spend a day in was probably the MF2720 or the JD6610
Hi George great vid as usual I am putting new tyres on my fiat 110 90 I was told about ceat tyres hadn't heard of them before how would they compare to bkt. Ceat are €500 cheaper
CEAT have been around for about 80 years as a company making rubber tyres ! If you're not after a Gen3 or similar for drilling and low ground pressure, then why spend more than you have to ? The CEAT's will do you well and they look nice also 👌🏼

Wide tyres are okay if you need the lower ground pressure but if you're not going for a Gen3 (which you don't need) you can lose grip when you need it so I would personally stick with the 480's and then you'll be able to put the maximum amount of power on to the ground.

You sure you're on 12" Saunders and not 14" ? I was on 14's and still used to have trouble squeezing down the furrow with my 25.

I can remember when we had plough like that. The depth wheel was nightmare at times not dropping. If just got bit ware on it on depth stops

I think in the last 40 years, there hasn't really been a tractor to equal the JD 10 series as an all rounder.
