- For Christians, death is the doorway into resurrection. This Easter, in the midst of suffering, grief, loneliness, and sorrow, we mourn, but not as those who have no hope. Today, we remember that Jesus is risen, so our faith and our hope are not in vain. We remember that sorrow lasts for a while, but joy really is coming. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God the Father, and the friendship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
Thank you for joining us for a special time of worship this Easter.

Thank you Shane and Shane and CO... I have no idea how I would have made it through 2019 without your Hymns and Psalms live. I was laid off in 2019, single income, 2 kids and a wife, squeaking by. I knew it would happen for two years and took refuge in Him alone. I read the Psalms, Job, Joseph and leaned in as I wasn’t asked to leave.
PRAISE THE LORD!!! 106 Days later the Lord provided me with an awesome job that I can serve others and my fam. More than that, 106 days later, I passed the 3rd of 3 extremely hard financial test to do the role. Thank you Lord.
Thank you for this group who sings your praise and reminds us of your goodness. Psalms 18, 34, 37, 145, and all the hymns. Everyday they captured my heart. Thank you

This has brought me back to enter into True worship, and to return to my First Love- after many months of allowing brokenness to cause my heart to grow distant and dull and overwhelmed... this has lifted my eyes to see my Jesus again, no longer blinded by the trials we face, but to see Him High and Lifted up, in all His glory...and to allow the cross and the Picture of His Perfect Love to invade my heart again... He is the Source and Object of our praise despite the fears and turmoil... thank you for lifting eyes back to Jesus... The Author and Perfecter of our Faith and the Only One Who can bring us through these days🙏🙏🙏

I was just thinking the same thing. There is so much emotional clutter in modern worship and it lacks Doctrine. These guys just put the Word to song, not some pretty idea.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
Keep playing, keep singing, keep teaching us how Good our Father is! Thank you, Shane and Shane. Praise God we are hearing joy again! HALLELUJAH!

I'm a believer from Jamaica, discovered Shane and Shane's music in 2018. The beauty around my discovery is that ,my father dad two days before I heard this song 'surely goodness surely mercy'. Went and researched the group and founds more songs. Shared them with my family and even now 2020 in this corona pandemic the songs still get me through. Shane and Shane you are a blessing on this earth to help God's children hold on to the promise. Love you guys, here's to hoping there's a concert in Jamaica one day.

@@ladylilo6044 i think he's more pointing out the sacredness of the communion (as seen in scripture). Paul stressed to take it extremely seriously, and it seems like Jay is just saying it SHOULD be taken with your church congregation. Eating the bread and wine shouldn't be taken nonchalantly in our homes unless we are truly with other believers and walking in faith, taking the bread and wine with true respect.
In this period of uncertainty and pandemic with COVID-19, I believe God encourages to take part in communion despite not physically being present with your congregation (unless you're ignoring guidelines). I don't think people who take it by themselves/with their family alone is going against the sanctity of communion.

You should be able to listen to Sermons on the passages that speak of the Angel of the Lord by going to gty.org. There is a sermon app you can download where you can see Sermons by scripture. John Macharthur is a very faithful teacher of the Bible. You will be blessed by listening to it.
