I haven't taken a drug, drank alcohol in 25 years. Rarely drink caffeine and have never smoked anything. I have watched and seen so much going on in the world sober. When your mind is clear you see everything. Praise Jesus

Pastors like this is why we are where we are. If they would preach repentance of the church instead of overlooking verses like 2 Cor 5:16 - then we would not be where we are. They are more worried about rights than the Gospel. GO ahead - read 1 Cor 5:9-13; 1 Cor 2:14; 2 Cor 5:15,16 and tell me a "new creation" (2 Cor 5:17) has the SAME MIND as this man. HE DOES NOT. A new creation does not look at the flesh -- but at the spirit - and sees that the lost man needs Jesus. A NEW CREATION sees that these people he named (liberals, druggies) are going to the EXACT SAME PLACE as Ivanka Trump - because BOTH have renounced Jesus -but this man only wants to call out ONE PARTY - ONE GROUP. A REAL PREAHER calls out BOTH and names the problem - the CHURCH and its failure to preach the GOSPEL - 1 Peter 4:17!

I've been in health care for about ten years now. In the last five years or so I've noticed an increase in patients with drug abuse and mental illness problems. What was an occasional event has now become the norm. Many are young children. We are reaping the fruits of pushing God out of every aspect of our American culture. Come Lord Jesus!!!

I absolutely agree with you. I believe Pastor Lawson is a great man of God! I've really learned alot about God's Word listening to his sermons. One weekend soon, I plan to drive the four hours from Atlanta to Knoxville, to attend his church one Sunday, and hear him in person.

I used to smoke weed for years and I honestly feel like it helped me get through some hard times as kind of a crutch or something to look forward too, but God helped me quit. Praise the Lord. It's times to be very sober and vigilant

These pure words of God, from the KJV only, of course, will reveal that there is NO imminent return of Jesus Christ and that there will be signs that we must look for prior to His returning to rapture His elect (all believers since the begining).

He has Pastor. I remember how I was religious "child" as a freshman, age 14, and in the fall, He appeared to me in a dream. I woke up so excited, telling everyone that Jesus loves them. I didn't understand then, until I raised my hands and accepted Him as my personal Lord and savior a few months later. Since then, the road has been up and I've never been the same. 18 years now and I still proclaim His goodness. I tell you, He is good. I've had so much experiences and encounters for anyone to tell me otherwise.
Even now, I see how the world is going crazy and crazier because of rejecting the Chief Cornerstone. We should not give up praying for them.

I believe September 23rd is very significant and I have voiced this to everyone at work, they ask what am I going to do if nothing happens. Simple, keep mowing my yard, watering my flowers, taking care of my family and praising the Lord for all of it. The times are definitely upon us! The Lord will come for us when it's the perfect time and nothing less. God bless all of you brothers and sisters! I hope he comes back before the 23rd!
Remember that this was 4 years ago and there now have been hundreds more “prophecies” familiar to that one. I guess that it’s just not necessary to do that. 😊

Brother Charles i agree with you 100% i was giveb opposites from 1998 when i became disabled i got lost till 2009 when my doctor a Christian s told me morally she could no longer prescribe my Percocet 10 any longer. Medically she could. She gave me a carx her son gave her. When i went to her i was losing my mind. Faith. Everything. The card was a medical doctor who prescribed certin strains of cannabis to cope with my ptsd ,my pain and stomach isues. I DO NOT BELIEVE IN RECREATIONAL USE as i don't believe in the use of alcoholic beverages except for medical use.

I absolutely love Pastor's preaching voice and his accent. I'm from Boston so my accent is gross, but he has such a musical one.
I dabbled into a few things and it made me feel good for a moment..I was hooked on opioids and got away from it by the grace of God!! I had to cut off ties with people who were in that lifestyle and I never looked back..Lots of those people died from drugs or they are homeless or in prison over and over..I cried out to God and he pulled me out of the darkness!! Amen!!
I so appreciate your ministry Pastor Lawson. Just want to tell you that Schizophrenia and Bipolar (also called Manic-Depressive disorder) are definitely not the same thing. Schizophrenics have auditory and some visual hallucinations that tell them things to do, taunt and torment them. Bipolar is the switching from one mood to the other, though you did describe that pretty accurately. Thank you also for differentiating street drugs and pharmaceuticals. There are Christians who would have a depressed person believe that they are faithless or they wouldn't be depressed, and should be trusting God instead of taking medicine. Also, mental illness actually makes people much more susceptible to demonic oppression and possession for the same reason drugs make people susceptible. They have an altered state of consciousness but not because they have gone out and gotten themselves into drugs, etc, but because of malfunctions of the brain/mind. I'm a Christian who loves the Lord and studies the Word diligently, a retired nurse, and Bipolar. If people think that faith will prevent being mentally ill, I'd love for them to experience for five minutes how much faith it takes to just live life with a mental illness. It is an Achilles heel that Satan loves to exploit and torment. God has His reasons for it, and I accept that because He's God and I'm not.

I live in Colorado. Colorado legalized marijuana for the tax revenue. No regard was given to the broken lives of families who suffer watching a loved one hooked. I left a job I held for 7 years because my life was threatened by a man high on meth. I stand with Pastor Lawson. 100% Think about this: It's easier for the elite to take over our country when the citizens are high on drugs, drunk, asleep, and waiting for the next government hand out. Let's see what the Bible instructs us to do right now: I Peter 5:8; "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour. " Use common sense. Stay faithful to God's Word.

Terri N I am so glad someone from Colorado is here to make an educated comment. I have never seen so many negative remarks thrown at preacher Lawson for stating biblical facts! So many are putting him down bc he said "weed" was a gateway drug. And it is!

It's so sad that the public officials only see "money" and not the damage done. They get all "giddy" reporting about it in the local papers. It's flat out sickening. I am not judging others who feel they need it for medical purposes, however, most of the residents are using the drug to get high. People need to open their eyes and see the deception. This is the last times. I can only imagine how bad things are going to escalate now that the door has been opened. Pastor Lawson is doing his best to bring sound reasoning here. I am in his generation and have seen quite a bit of life. It's worse now than I ever remember it. I expect it to wax worse as the scriptures say. All we can do is pray -- "Come Lord Jesus"..................

Weed is definitely a gateway drug. I'm living proof. Most of the people who "preach" that weed isn't a gateway drug are often using the harder drugs in secret. Terri N actually mentioned an end times prophecy indirectly that was given by Paul. Paul mentioned that in the last days there would be serious problems with witchcraft a sorcery. The Greek word for "sorcery" is "pharmakia"......narcotics. Amphetamines, opiates, halucinagenics.....these all induce a state of mind that is the very definition of "witchcraft". Witchcraft is when the mind is altered in such a way that it causes reality to perceived in ways that are simply false illusions.
I find it interesting that the marijuana legalization is taking place at a time immediately after a decades long-systematic dumbing down of American citizens. It's also interesting that this is happening at a time of MAJOR political scandals left and right as well as the push to pass New World Order bills like NAFTA and TPP. We are living at a time where all the different forces of darkness are converging on a sing point in time. I can't think of a more opportune time for Satan to flood the streets with drugs...using his political puppets that he's put in power. As we get closer to May 14, 2018 I believe we will see world leaders pushing NWO agendas more and more frantically. They know something is coming and so do born again Christians.....sometimes I even hear lost folks mention that they feel something is terribly wrong. We live in interesting times, that's for sure.

You can tell a true God called preacher from the dead ones. You will know them by their fruits. By what he preaches, how he carries himself, and by how he treats the members of his congregation. If he’s true then he’ll treat every member the same,rich or poor. He’ll preach the truth no matter who he hurts, and will solve problems in the church the best he can no matter what.

Dear Sister in Christ Jesus,
Not all mental illnesses are caused by demons, nor are all emotional illnesses caused by demons.
Many mental and emotional illnesses are caused by faulty genes of the parents.
Some faulty genes cause the body to not make neurotransmitters such as Seretonin or Dopamine which causes disabling emotional illness.
Finally, scientists have developed medicine called Seretonin Re-uptake Inhibitors which is a lifetime medicine, but enables a person who inherited faulty genes to be completely normal, living productive, responsible, happy lives.
Some mental & emotional illnesses are caused by additives put into processed foods, malnutrition, hormone fluctuations and even whiplash where the spinal cord is compressed and spinal fluid backs up in the brain, causing the inability to think straight
&/or neurotransmitters were blocked from reaching the brain.
So not all psychological problems are caused by demon possession.
The reason why those suffering from mental and emotional breakdowns were so demonized was because people had no idea what was actually wrong, so society determined it was caused by demon possession.
Doctors and scientists started really studying these illnesses in the early 1990s and discovered what I wrote above.
But, yes, more and more non-Christian people are possessed by demons and exhibit supernatural strength, vile emotional problems, evil moral breakdowns and become criminally insane.
But show some discernment before jumping to conclusions that all unusual people are demon possessed.
Remember, ADD & ADHD are also psychological problems.

I am shocked and dismayed to find that Pastor Lawson, whom I respect so much, is a Calvinist. I love this sermon but was downcast when he said that every single person who is saved was chosen before the foundation of the earth. He came to me when He came to the cross to die for me. That will NEVER be destroyed by any Calvinist!

One thing, I believe the Lord certainly does give us signs in the sun, moon and stars, as He said in Genesis 1:14, He created the sun, moon and stars for several reasons, the first one being "signs." Also, Jesus said in Luke 21:25, "There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars, and upon the earth distress of nation, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring." I can't understand how anyone can read that verse and not believe we are in the last of the last days. Regarding the blood moons which fell on God's feast days in 2014 & 2015, I believe they were a warning of impending judgment. If a bridge is out, you wouldn't want to put a sign a foot in front of the bridge to warn people, you'd want to put it at least a mile before to give adequate warning. The bottom line for me is that God spoke of signs in the heavens and I believe what He said. Hope to meet you in the air soon! I think we will. Pastor lawson, I was raised old time pentecostal, got married at a real young age. Joined the USMC and did my tour with medical hon. Discharge. After discharge my wife left me along with my daughter and i had lost my mind. I was involved into drugs and partying and alcoholism. Was going knowhere fast and falling apart! I had felt so alone, i repented before God in tears asking him for his holy spirit. Some people say i need to clean my garments, others say i have to leave my wife now for 11 years and my son. I thought it was faith through grace in christ Jesus. That if i believe with my heart and confess with my mouth to the day of redemption though shall be saved. Can i get any more advise from you pastor lawson, i really listen to the way you preach but i am now theologen. I read in spanish too. My grandma used to teach but she died. And the churches that ive tried to attend mostly singing and pastor like to talk about his golf games. I live in tampa fl. Trying to find a holy ghost, word preaching church of like minded brothers and sisters in the lord. If you can advise please help.

I'm in pain all the time with autoimmune disease and no thyroid. I want to not take pain meds and use Marijuana. I don't use it alot but when the pain is so bad I do. I pray for healing everyday. I hate being on medication.
I need some serious prayer help overcoming Marijuana, cigarettes, and "self pleasure". I have a horribly difficult time gaining victory. When I overcome 1 temptation another comes by or it comes back stronger. I hate the way I'm living because as a Christian I am fully aware of how my actions are an affront to God. But it remains so difficult to overcome
Grant Shearer I was addicted to pot for years and I couldn't give it up today I am set free it's been about 4 years now free I couldn't imagine life without pot now I don't struggle with the sins of the flesh I'm still praying about my mouth if I get really angry I say bad words
He will set you free it didn't happen for me for years but the Lord did come through I will put you on my prayer list God bless you

Bloo Flower I got baptized last week and the day I got baptized I sinned every one of my worst sins in my mind. Lust, cigarette, pot, and swearing.. I felt so horrible.....

It really sounds like you need deliverance
The moment I got delivered I was changed and set free from pot my face and eyes changed
Everything changed
I still smoked pot a couple of times after and got scared staight fast
When you get delivered you have to keep your house clean your body or they will come back far worse
I still smoking cigarettes
And am waiting on the Lord to take this desire away and he will at the right time
I had severe PTSD
It was really bad but the Lord set me free and healed me I have much to be thankful for
We have to go through alot here it's all a great test
Just hold on to the Lord with all that you have he is faithful
His timing isn't our timing

I'm not by any means saying that you don't have faith just ask for more it's great
And alot easyer to get through this life when you're faith is great
