@@jonrice9509 of course, take note my freebird stopped working less than two months after purchase. I made a short about it a few weeks ago. Hope this helps with your decision
I’m 57 and been shaving head bald for 30 years. Too many to count buying and using different clippers, trimmers etc. My head has never felt so smooth after a shave using anything other than a razor. It’s worth using
I kind of like the Freebird Flex Series. I had a bad first impression also. I did the water and shaving cream, and I would rinse it under the sink. Then I used a bowl of warm water, and that seemed to be a bit quicker. I'll try just water next time.
I think it's a great razor. It gets close enough for my head. I use a safety razor for my face, but on my head, i get bumps and irritation. It could be a technique, but i can't use the safety razor on my head. For me, this works great. I can shave my head at night and my face in the morning. I have to use it every day to avoid those bumps that pop up on day 2. For someone who can't use razors on their head this will work just a good.
Thank you for your review. I purchased this when it was named Freedom Groomer. Seems like after they changed things, the quality may have changed a bit. Would you be in the future consider reviewing the Groomie Baldie Pro?
I had one of these, the blades started to make a grinding noise after a few weeks despite the fact that I cleaned it regularly and the shave quality took a nose dive so I think some internal gear that spun the blades must have gotten damaged somehow. I don't think the 5 blade design is very good.
@@3vilSuperman my unit completely stopped working right under a month after purchase. I uploaded it as a short. I filed a claim with Freebird and they sent a replacement unit out.
Thanks for a high quality review. It was tough to find one that felt like a review and not a commercial.

Interesting that you were able to get a closer shave in water. Thanks for the review.

His eye brow raise when he said this only applies to my head! 😂 Good review though still respect.
