Her composure is no joke.The words flowed so naturally.
U don't know baby . They are given a lot of philosophical material to read and they answer after mugging up the material.
And the answer she is given in is totally wrong.
She is saying confident and victorious person is beautiful etc .
But language was philosophical so we found it correct.
Overall performance decides the winner not the last answer.
Only sushmita sen gave the correct answer ,which made sense.

Actually being beautiful is not an easy thing. No wonder only few can maintain beautiful. Yes I m agree that born as beautiful is a gift itself but maintain it demands a lot hard work and discipline. It’s very much true that beauty is pain, suffering and expensive. The point is anyone can be beautiful if there is hardwork , self discipline, self love and enough patience to see the end result which will take months or perhaps years.
If you're an oppurtunist and clever along with being attractive you are blessed.. on other hand if you're naive and kind along with being beautiful this world will be a hell #harshreality
Lara Dutta had no competition in her year at Miss Universe and I believe she is the most intelligent and well spoken contestant that India has sent to Miss Universe, Sushmita Sen comes second. Harnaaz is stunning but she does not have the commanding voice that Lara and Sushmita has. Their answers solidified their victories in their years.I am glad that India won Miss Universe 2021, well deserved by Harnaaz.
Sush will beat her anyday. 😎 Lara is rehearsed perfection, but Sush is genuity at its pristine best.

Third, Lara is a natural. Sush is rehearsed. Lara talks from an educated place, she knows what she speaks. I am a Sushmita fan too but I recall her answer about heritage of Indian textile where she talked about Gandhi's khadi- how educated- she totally misses the point.
Lara is reflection of a woman full of wisdom. She is really most intelligent Miss Universe ever.
Even Catriona can't beat her in Q and A.

Beauty is really from within. But the whole concept of beauty pagents is really against what it is. Lara's answer is no doubt amazingly articulated.🙏But if beauty is subjective, why have beauty contests?

@@ZeusSharpie I think it is the psychology of humans justifying what has happened to make peace with it. Had the panel of judges been different, had the card declaring the winner was different,no one would think it is unfair that a certain someone was given the award. For eg: the Miss Philipines and Miss Colombia hotch potch.

Individually all are beautiful other than the standards or expectations set by various beauty pageant organizations to compete. Just that perhaps, they are looking for someone that appeals to fit the brand from the organizers' perspective.
Having said that, not meeting the standards or requirements of the beauty pageant organizers doesn't mean ONE is any lesser. The beauty inside Each remain the same irrespective of being chosen to represent or not.

If Nina Ricci Alagao of the Philippines was able to enter the semifinalist i believe that they will have neck to neck fight in the q and a round. Nina was also articulate and smart like Lara but sadly her gown was not enough to penetrate top 10, rumors said that she was rank 11.

Because if you're an overweight, that reflects a lot on you. Are you disciplined enough to look after your health? Do you have the courage to fight obesity?
Agree with Your point. However, obesity doesn't always needs to be a symbol of laziness or unwillingness. If a person is active and healthy, it should not matter. Plus, I said over weight and not obese. Those two are different. One can be beautiful without being "skinny" but you never find a a single "healthy" gurl even qualify for pageant. They all have to be "skinny"

Lara answered super confidently no doubt but her answer did not answer the question is it that easy to be a beautiful person. Her points in answer - trust, confidence, determination, conviction, dream to be victorious, stamina for the long run etc. is answer for the question on how to be a successful person is you add hardwork to it as well. The right answer for being beautiful would have been kind hearted, emphathy, team player, helpful, looking out for others that make you a beautiful person
