This is Maa Balakumari Temple in Chikiti, district of Ganjam and near by city is Berhampur.
Durga Puja, Navratri and every
Sankrant are mani festivals in this
temple, and thousands of devotees
from the city of Berhampur and its
environs gather to witness the festival.
There is a Shiva temple and a big Shiva
Linga located at the foothills of the
Balakumari Mandir. Maa Balakumari
temple is one of the best tourist
places in Ganjam, Odisha.

distance is around 33km and
Gopalpur Sea Beach to Balakumari temple distance is about 46 km.
Good parking facility where you park your vehicles (4wheeler- Rs.
20). From parking spot, you have to
climb 250 steps to reach the temple.
There is committee of 15 members
who manage all the work of temple.
After construction of the road, temple
has renovated with some other
facilities for devotees like pantha shala,
and washrooms for tourists or
devotees. Bhogas are also available in
the counter as ladu (rs. 10), malpua
(Rs. 10), mitha Prasad (Rs. 10), kichudi
bhoga (Rs. 10), Arna bhoga (Rs. 50). If
you want Arna bhoga, then you have to
book the ticket before 12 pm.
