The commercial was created by the Federation Against Copyright Theft along with the Motion Picture Association of America in cooperation with the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore. Honestly fuck PETA. They pretend to be a rights activist group, yet put down more than 90% of the animals they take in and bully/harrass anyone who questions their behaviour. I understand sometimes animals need to be put down, but a 90% plus put down rate? They aren't trying to adopt them out, because they don't want to. They beleive it's better to have a dead animal than one kept as a pet. They just suck. If you don't beleive me, just go to their website and look for information on adopting. There's NOTHING. Only "success" stories on the poor baby animals they "rescued". Even if there was a tab for information on adopting, why wouldn't it be on the front page? Shouldn't adoption be the most important goal? Oh wait, it's not, because PETA is trash and kills animals, then slanders those who call them out. Pure garbage.

You can't steal a meme. A meme is quite literally when society comes together to accept something as a joke and can only be called a meme when it is shared and understood by a large community. You can't make a meme. It's the sharing and understanding of a joke that classify something as a meme.
@poo poo Pee go to 4chan and see for yourself. It's not 90%, it's overexaggeration, ofc, but a decent number of them. The original reddit memes like yoda baby or thanos are mostly shit for normies . No wonder instagram normies steal them from reddit normies.
@poo poo Pee "degenerate" says the redditer unironically. How's insulting people gonna prove your point? >acting like 4chan never stole memes from somewhere elseZ And what's this strawman? I never said that. However, reddit steals more (even from instagram - pathetic), because their original memes are lame as f. 4chan, on the other hand, makes more original content than it steals
@poo poo Pee I'm a 3rd worlder and English isn't my first language, but at least I know how to punctuate, which cannot be told the same about you. And is there any dictionary that says how to spell redditor/redditer right? Can you prove that it's wrong or gonna shit your pants again? Even if it is wrong - OH YEAH, let's point out the opponent's mispell/mistake instead of stating arguments, right? I didn't call you a degenerate, I just pointed out that you did and that it's ironic. BTW, it's also ironic to hear "degenerate" from someone with a nikname poo-poo Pee - it says a lot about redditOrs (fk u). And again, I never said that 4ch doesn't steal, I'm saying that it makes MORE ORIGINAL content than any of other platforms do. Say, according to KnowYourMeme, Pepe the Frog appeared earlier on 4ch and it made it popular. Have Reddit ever made such a signifficant meme lifespan of which is as long as Pepe's?
If they wanted to stop the watermark remover, each Redditor should’ve made unique watermarks for their memes, saying something to the effect of “This meme was originally posted on Reddit by u/_________”. That small difference might have been enough to mess with the watermark removers.

Fun fact: the mush mush sound effect you hear is from the Japanese crime drama beat em up, Yakuza 0, developed by Ryo Go Gotoku studio, published by SEGA and then released in 2015
The sound effect plays when series protagonist, Kazama Kiryu, is in a telephone club, (named Tel Tel Boys Club) and picks up a call from a young lady who hopes to go be wooed by Kiryu and taken on a date.

2nd Fun fact: this clip was taken from an anti piracy commercial known as Piracy: It's a Crime. The commercial was created by the Federation Against Copyright Theft along with the Motion Picture Association of America in cooperation with the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore. The commercial garnered its reputation as a meme due to its catchy statement of "You wouldn't steal a car" being remixed into the statement "you wouldn't download a car". This was considered humorous by many because the idea of downloading a car is impossible and ridiculous.

I still think you need to cover the "Stevepocalypse" of PETA taking on Steve Irwin and being crushed by the entire world.
Yes
@@fishbuddy547 Completely in agreement, but anyone with a few braincells to rub together knows that PETA is a means to make money thinly veiled as activism à la the Westboro Baptists. To get idiomatic, you're preaching to the choir by expressing your outrage here.
@@fishbuddy547 adoption doesn't do anything to stem animal abuse Sono there are actual adoption agencies Peta is an animal rights group
If you don't agree with them that's fine but the whole 90% s*** is propaganda your local shelter that's goal is actually to adopt out everything probably kills the majority of animals that come in that doesn't make them a virtue signaling money hungry murder Factory and I doubt your local shelter has taken down a single puppy mill. people don't care enough to give enough money to house them all for their entire lives I'm sure they would if that was an option but it's either move on from one animal that was doomed to die to the next situation with that growing problem or waste all your money on an animal someone else already doomed to let them continue making the problem worse their PR is horrible the Steve Irwin stuff was absolutely bulshit but bring something real to the table other than pointing out the fact that they're not an adoption agency and they focus on activism rather than adoptions.

You can't steal a meme. A meme is quite literally when society comes together to accept something as a joke and can only be called a meme when it is shared and understood by a large community. You can't make a meme. It's the sharing and understanding of a joke that classify something as a meme.

@poo poo Pee 78% of all statistics are made up
@poo poo Pee go to 4chan and see for yourself. It's not 90%, it's overexaggeration, ofc, but a decent number of them. The original reddit memes like yoda baby or thanos are mostly shit for normies . No wonder instagram normies steal them from reddit normies.
@poo poo Pee "degenerate" says the redditer unironically. How's insulting people gonna prove your point?
>acting like 4chan never stole memes from somewhere elseZ
And what's this strawman?
Tf happened here?
If they wanted to stop the watermark remover, each Redditor should’ve made unique watermarks for their memes, saying something to the effect of “This meme was originally posted on Reddit by u/_________”. That small difference might have been enough to mess with the watermark removers.
