Also, if you run out of time, Pizzaface spawns, except he looks a bit glitchy. This is actually intentional though, as Snick will have dialogue if you beat a level after Pizzaface has spawned. Extremely unfun too since the level design would often put them in a situation where your literal only move is to wait. If you got impatient it would reset its position wasting even more of your time. The ones out in the open aren't as bad once you learn the angle you can safely hit them at but the ones in tight areas are inexcusable.
2 things that you didn't mention that seems kinda important 1 you need all topins to P rank levels now 2 there's snick dialog if you let time run out on any level except dragon's lair
They also made it so if you do all the P-Rank requirements but you're still short on points, entering the door will immediately give you enough points to complete the P-Rank.
Mistakes: - The shoulderbash isn’t in Sage or any other PT builds except for Pre-Jay Leno, which is 2 years AFTER Sage. It was only used in that build and never used again. - The comedic speech bubbles aren’t a Sage 19 Plus thing. They originated in April 2021/Blueprint Build, with the only difference being the that the text itself in April 2021 and Sage 19 Plus aren’t alike, and the text for Ancient Cheese, Bloodsauce Dungeon, and Dragon’s Lair are custom made. That’s it, though I don’t get what you mean by the OG Dragon Lair’s level design sucking. I thought it was alright me personally but sure.
the upwards section in dragons lair plus finnicky gimmicks with the weenie is really annoying, the enemy throw mechanic is decent but doesnt really feel fluid.
@@QwertySlime23 It’s not THAT bad, and although the weenie was a bit finicky, it was still an ok gimmick. Also, I’m just as confused on people not liking the throwing enemies/junk gimmick as I am of people not liking Peppino’s bomb transformation in the final game.
They didn’t have to redo any of Peppino’s/other sprites. It’s literally the same quality as the base game and yet it still feels like an excellent fan game of Pizza Tower.
peppino's idle animation has stayed the same since the 2018 halloween demo, back when mcpig was a bit worse at art so compared to peppino's more recent sprites, it looks a bit muddy
you absolutely do not need the breakdance to do the purple medals for the levels. I've personally challenged myself to do all of the purple medals without the breakdance and it is entirely possible for pizzascape, archaic entryway and ancient cheese through careful usage of the combo gal's ability to give you the heat meter effects which also includes the upgraded shoulder bash, and if you're careful with how you use it you can go at blistering speeds real fast by long jumping out of it (you can do this midair or grounded) and quickly diving on to a surface to gain some elevated speed I'm sure that bloodsauce dungeon is possible without using the breakdance so I'll get some attempts in
The level TVs for John Gutter and Bloodsauce Dungeon are references to Donkey Kong Country and DOOM respectfully. Pizzascape and Ancient Cheese seem to be about the same as there 2019 counterparts
I know this was in one of the original PT demos, but having the tutorial as a booby trap is genius as first-time players will usually end up falling for it, while players who've already done it know it's there and can skip it
the PTV news was actually in the demos! i think the first three levels dialouge are the same as the demos! then it got made into a sortoff tutorial in eggplant, then completeley scrapped, shame it wasnt in the finall pizza tower.
I love this version mostly because of the color pallette, while pizza tower does use the wario ware pallette this one chooses a more vibrant and visible pallette thats has made levels like pizzascape and ancient cheese more visible and memorable

There's always something magical about mods, that strikes to recreate the games with original ideas from early days of development/game life (such as Team Fortress 2 Classic, for example). I should definitely try this one as well

This wasnt mentioned but when taunting next to the box, the box can spawn the enemies / objects faster, which is usefull for speedruns. And another thing that wasnt mentioned is that when getting a time of 0:00 at any level (excluding Dragons Lair) an object named "hurricane" will appear, homing at the player. I did encounter the hurricane on my 5th Playthrough but i dodged him easily because i was at the last room of pizzascape. By the way keep up the good work with the videos! The Rat cult: Revenge (The Noise cheese rat cult) really likes your Content by the way. Heart this comment if it was helpful and gave more stuff about the game.
Gonna be honest, after this mods done, a base game mods needed for the badges cause those things are awesome! The one hit combo killer is my favorite cause you take your time and take care of everything before pizza time.

If you tend to make any more of these types of videos I would recommend trying to add more voice tone like for example having a cheerful voice tone for something you like instead of the same monotone voice, It would honestly make these a little better to listen to. But if not for a reason, then that's okay.
a fact: while having 50 combo and more, pressing dash two times will unlock the punch or something (forgor the name) you can fly with it and can build up speed when you dont have the breakdance, if you lose the combo tho you will lose it
i think the main thing that makes this stand out so much from pizza tower isn't just the graphics, but the colors. the colors blend together well, and give a lukewarm vibe, whereas the final game for pizza tower's levels FEEL greasy. in a good way, of course.

I can confirm for the time attack, you need breakdance. Got some good times, but they were milliseconds close. The dev times are brutal.

i think the main thing that makes this stand out so much from pizza tower isn't just the graphics, but the colors.
the colors blend together well, and give a lukewarm vibe, whereas the final game for pizza tower's levels FEEL greasy. in a good way, of course.
