Bruno and Mia great job on the stop motion in the beginning of the video
Ok. Hasbro NEEDS to get those for there Power Rangers line- wait there's already a Power Rangers version of it? WHEN AND HOW?!
These look amazing for being Plastic Models
Especially the Mega Dragonzord. That thing looks great
Key word Plastic models
Whoa, those model kits remind of those kits for Gundam. I never thought I see the day this would happen to the Megazord. Zordon rejoice!
Congratulations, you have officially sold me on these sets. I never thought Id buy mini pla.
Wait are you still in Pennsylvania?
So you made a whole foam display and stop motioned a fight scene all in a hotel.
Thats dedication and why I love this channel.
Haha yes, our tiny hotel room is starting to look like our CA house now, we've got lights, sets, toys, camera stuff etc. We're supposed to get our new house keys on the 30th.
bet you're excited to get out of that hotel and into your new home huh?
These and the action Zords are exactly why we don't need the Build a Figures with the Legacy figures
They are sweet though, almost look like the Retrofires just a bit bigger and more detailed
and you have the sense of accomplishment for making them
The con is the Price though, which I guess if you get all the Build a Figures it ends up to be around the same.
You mean the sense in being ripped off. I don't feel a sense of accomplishment, I feel a sense of having teams incomplete and weapon less.
I like the action Zords and the models ALOT better. Mainly because the joints on the Build a MegaZords are awful. I really enjoyed the Retrofires alot and feel they could do every MegaZord with these models and I'd buy them.
The Action Zords also scale alot better with the Rangers as well
I was talking about the model kits, not the build-a-figure
I have a couple of Gundam models from years ago that I loved putting together. So a model Megazord and Dragonzord... I think I need that!
You know the “Bruno upgrade” always makes things so much better and more awesome looking. That is pretty neat
It's kinda funny to know that they put this out the same year they put out an SoC version of Megazord. Back then the price difference is huge, but three years later, the minipla is almost as expensive as the SoC version. hahaha!
I don't need that, but, boy, I sure do want it.
These are pretty wild! Very customizable and articulate.
If I didn't already have Chogokin, I'd definitely go for them.
It's so time consuming!!! I'm so lazy to get started on the Dragonzord... But I'm done with all the other five. But man, not a model building type of guy. 😂😂😂
I both enjoy and hate putting them together. Once I finally get going, they come together pretty easily, after I sit there saying, "oooohhhh look at all of the these pieces, what a pain in the..."
I am not a molde guy but I think this will be a fun thing to do
this is a dream come true for someone like me that loves PR and Gundam model kits!
Your stop motion never disopoints me
Thanks! Certainly not terrible for hotel room animation. We'll hopefully do something longer & cooler after we're moved in to the new house (and with Titanus) :)
Nothing against the DX Megazords but I always thought the Minipla ones were cool imo.
Yes minipla is awesome. I have mine painted. I just uploaded my SMP Daizyujin video this week.
Great opening scene
Brings back memories of my favorite power rangers version.
Great Stop Motion!
As someone who LOVES building Gunpla, this is right up of my alley, but $60 is a really, really hard sale.
Right it only the size of a hg at that
I didn't think I would need another Megazord ever again after the SoC. But as a big fan of Gundam model kits, I think I need this!
oh man... I didn't know these were model kits and super articulated... damn it. I think I need them now.
A Megazord with articulation!?
Well, it's a start anyway.
Gonna be getting these soon as, I hope they keep going. I would love a whole shelf of these guys, fighting alongside my Dai-X
I’m hoping they come out with a reissue of Titanus. Gotta have em all!
The minipla WITHOUT the stickers somehow has comparable paint to the new hasbro megazord...
Also awsome stop motion👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks Daniel :)
I think i need that ^^ Can´t resist a Dragonzord he is one of my favorits of all time, would go so far the favorit *o*
I really like the intro
They look better than I thought! I definitely need a megazord and I enjoy building gundam plastic model kits this could be fun.
& the upcoming Titanus is motorized! :-o YES PLEASE!
MMPRtoys That's exciting! Reminds me of the old zoids model kits I used to build!
I wish as a kid the toy companies would have these small versions of the bigger toys. My parents never could afford the megazords so I’d always be stuck with either one megazord (like the Falcon Ninja Zord) and imagine that I had the full megazord while playing but these small ones would not only be more affordable it way easier to play with
Hey @MMPRtoys how did you paint the lines on the Megazord’s horns? I tried using Gundam markers but it just comes out messy?
They look good! Love the animation.
Thanks! :)
The potential that they have for these are amazing! Could you imagine thunderzord? Or Serpentina?
@@JiorJio do tell!!
Cool. I would love to see these series tackle the Ninja and Shogun Zords.
Just bought both brand new for $250 from eBay Japan and I’m so excited that there small because I have no room for big features anyways lol
My cat's woke me up at 4:58 in the morning just to watch this video
Amazing!!!!!!!!
Cameron Smith saaa
Cameron I am Cameron
They look amazing
Ok! Now I want!
FINALLY A Megazord with all that articulation!!
Well... there's the small non-transforming one which also has great articulation, and there's also the super fancy one which might have even more articulation than this one. But this has the best articulation of any Megazord that can also combine with Dragonzord & Titanus.
Cool I want them now, thanks :)
As a great man once said, I think I need that
hehe :)
how do you paint the horns and the blue thing in the pterodactyl zord? i forgot to put the deals for the sabertooth tiger's eyes so I just left it black.
Was just wondering what brand of paint is best to use on these? I am having problems with some of the stickers not wanting to stick. Decided to remove them and paint. Any help would be very appreciated!
+MMPRtoys chrome up some of bits on it and I think it'll be a good set. It's nice that they do combine instead of just being models you put together and stay just like that. Those might be a thing for me...
How durable are these sets to daily use and movement?
The Titanus looks practically like the Legacy version. :O
Still glad I passed on these though. Looks like a pain to assemble.
I would not be glad I passed on these. I'd be kicking myself until I finally got a set. I wanted Titanus *before* I knew it was motorized just like the original! Full MMPR Zord set with epic articulation that's the right size for all of the existing MMPR monsters? YES!!!
MMPRtoys Fair enough.
I'd be more invested in a Super Robot Chogokin Dragonzord myself.
Now that I think about it, these Mini-Plas are probably our best bet for an Ultrazord and Titanus in that scale.
We're can I buy this
do I need any tool(or any thing) before get/buy a mini pla set?
Theses are so cool!!
noice animation
Finally a new video. So happy!
Nice video! Also i want to ask if you have been able to make clips and pegs for your megazords, if so may i know how? Thanks in advance
That looks awesome
I think I need those
I know there are gonna be a lot of people complaining that these things are partsformers. If you've seen any incarnation of Power Rangers, pieces of each individual zord contribute to the formation of the Megazord. They're all partsformers.
I don't know what ranger fans aren't complaining about these days. Not sure if I've seen much of that with these at least, they work about the same as the show and DX toys did, but with a lot more articulation. There shouldn't be too much complaining here...
@@MMPRtoys one can hope
A gunpla power Rangers hybrid. SOLD!
What is the name of the music that start since 1:00? Could someone tell me please
GO TEAM BRONO
Looks great but my concern with it being a model kit is the durability. Is the plastic hard enough so the Megazord will remain in a given pose and not break?
Nice intro
What tool did you use to paint his horns?
Long time ago now... I'm going to guess it would have been a marker for that.
Oh, the link is actually still in the video description, yes, markers.
Yes Bruno I want this so bad it combines two of my favorite things power rangers and model kits
Those look great. I might pick up Dragonzord and see if I can use some spare gunpla parts for the Battle Mode form.
Those are fantabulously awesome. I must obtain them after all. AND they're doing a King Brachion/Titanus!? So much "...yesss"!!!
And that is one thing the TV Megazords will always have on he 201movie. You get both the Zords and Megazords that are fully functionable.
Stickers are a pain in the butt, no matter the toy line, but megazord sticker preservation has always been difficult.
Hi any suggestions to help keep the stickers on?
😲 pocket size megazords. i can use those to keep my kids happy in the car. No legacys allowed out of the house.
The Models look cool!
I should have grabbed these at NYCC 2017
Oh nice these things are finally out! :D
Love the idea
Mine should arrive tomorrow(later today now). I plan to do more painting. I really dislike stickers. Some of those I may use to avoid too much masking, but I can't say enough how much I hate stickers.
I can't wait till it comes in, and am sorely disappointed you barely touched on how awesome this thing's articulation is compared to any other megazord... Some may have had leg movement(beyond standing there like a statue) like the ninja and magiranger megs and some may have had arm movement like zeo but -NONE- so far outside of the soc has had both.
This is also sized right to scale with any of the monsters, which there has -never- been a monster to scale with previous mechas.
Sorry for any disappointment. We are in a hotel room, busy buying a home on the other side of the country. I started this video at 8am yesterday and finished at 1am this morning, never once leaving our tiny room. Between the animation, some of the still shots, and a little later in the video, anyone paying attention should get an excellent sense as to the articulation. Yeah, it was the scale that made me jump on these. I have other 5 inch Megazords that fit nicely with the 5 inch monsters, but never Drargonzord, and now... Titanus! YES! When we have our house, you know we're going to do a much longer stop motion with all of the Zords (and MMPR monsters)
I wonder about sticker quality. Can we apply top coat to ensure the sticker stays forever?
I'm a power rangers fan
I wanted to get this too but I was put off by the stickers as I am horrible at applying them. do you think its easy to put the stickers on?
It's mostly okay... the Mastodon eyes are a pain. I think that was the worst.
I hope they do this for every season
Just out of curiosity is there any talk of a thunder and White Tiger zord set?
No, but I'm sure anything's possible. They've done a lot of these. This might be the first time anyone has cared, but I've been aware of these since Abaranger (& wish I'd collected those!)
Use glue for when those stickers eventually peel. Yokai Watch model kits taught me that
Gluing stickers is no easy task. What glue have you been using? I'm happy with most of the stickers, but I think the Megazord head needs paint (or marker). The sticker doesn't look that great.
MMPRtoys I mean for when they peel and refuse to stay down on the edges. I used this perniment glue to put an ear and hand sticker back on jibanyan. Looking back I wish I knew to use glue - Orochi model kit was a disaster of nothing sticking and ended up in the trash
I just wanna know if the hasbro dino megazord can combine with the dragon zord
Would totally buy.
We Love You
I can't believe the Dragon Caesar and DaiZyuJin you had were assembled like Gunpla. Guess things change nowadays
I've been aware of these since 2003... I'm not sure if there are any previous ones or not. They're not new, but the fact that they're MMPR got everyone's attention. I'm almost positive I've shown some others on this channel that there was zero interest in. (I've also Go-Busters, ToQger, Kyoryuger....)
they look good without stickers but mastodon head looks kinda creepy. still gonna get it for christmas
Groovy
What kind of paint did you use?
I THINK I NEED THAT!!!
I didn't know Brad Swaile collected these
Love these videos. With the way that my autism affects my senses, I can actually feel these toys just by looking at them. It's weird, but it's how I conserve my money. Also, the stop motion animation on Bruno and Mia's videos is always high quality. It's amazing how you guys manage so much with just toys. Never had the skill for the art, but I can still appreciate talent when I see it.
Question did they ever do the thunder zords and where can you buy these?
Damn that's a big clipper.
Ay yi yi, if only I could afford these!!
Very Cool!
Where did you buy those
Bruno, would you say the Dragon is at the same scale as the main MMPR Zord? It looks shorter here, but I dont remember the dragon being shorter in the show...unless my memory fails me lol
On TV, they're guys in suits, so everyone's the same size. In toy form, they're not going to mirror the show. The plastic would literally need to magically resize itself. Different Zords need to be certain sizes so all of the various transformations work. It's the same way with the original (US & Japan) SOC, Legacy, and ZAP. If you went with Super7 you could probably get a T-Rex & Dragonzord that are the same size, and Legacy Dragonzord and the non-transforming Bandai T-Rex work pretty well. If you want transforming Zords, they'll never be the right size compared to TV.
PSA!For anyone looking to get this and not famillier with plastic models!! Plaese invest in an exacto knkfe and a pair of model snips~ they are pretty cheap and will help emensly. I used large snips for a long time and ruined many kits from miscuts.
Be very careful if you don't have the right tools for the job. That's what I've got in the hotel with me. I was careful and it went fine.
Hey Bruno and Mia just so you know there is a Comic Con in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania
Looks awesome!!
What happened with getting two and making the longer tail?
i'll be taking those thank you
i think these are perfect in scale, the dragon zord is slighty taller than the tyrannosaurus and the mega zord is slighty bigger than dragonzord
