VENUS IN BLUE JEANS - WRITTEN IN 1962 BY HOWARD GREENFIELD AND JACK KELLER. ORIGINALLY PERFORMED BY JIMMY CLANTON IN 1962. BEST VIEWED IN FULL SCREEN WITH VOLUME UP. ARTICLE 107 FAIR USE ACT.
Just was listening to Jay Black singing Cara Mia at 62, God keep him close. This music will only die with us unless we expose our children and grandchildren to it. Thank you for keeping it alive a little bit longer
Great song of yesteryear with a good video to match it. I like the couple in the video which acts very well as the song is sung. It has been 60 years since I first hear this song, but it is still good to hear in this excellent version.
Songfacts notes that the beautiful instrumentals were created and arranged by The Carol king and her husband Gerry Goff. The song itself almost never made it to the public. It sat in the reject box until Jimmie Clanton said I can change the cords and i think it will work. And it did.
@@trsh01 I just love vignettes , those little stories, behind things, like songs. Who would have thought Carol King was involved and her husband Gerry Goff. There are plenty of stories about very famous people who did background vocals for others songs. Like Cher doing vocals for phil spector.
❤❤ yeah it is funny how 60 years went by quickly we know who we were we worked hard we played hard we loved hard. We fought for everything. We know who the hell we were. Will laugh again we'll just never be young again. Something to reflect on. Who we once were❤❤

Nice to see maybe somehow. There's Hope yet out there. Huh 😊 ❤❤❤❤❤

She also could be a NP(nurse practitioner), DO ( doctor of osteopathy) or an RN.
