"The outhouse has desirability; that's silly, man." You're assuming the comparison is between outhouse and interior toilet, when it's more likely between outhouse and "Here's the poop bucket."
So, Tier 1 Housing can be 4-6 Tiles big. Tier 2 Condominiums can be up to 30 Tiles, quite hefty and expensive to build. Imagine my shock when i just unlocked Tier 3 Housing, the Palace, which can be up to 200 Tiles big!
I believe there's a workplace overview screen where you can easily (re)allocate Fablings as desired (e.g. move Farmers into Fishing during the winter).
If I recall correctly, you can move housing but have to remove the gardenplots first. not the stuff in the gardens (beehive, outhouse etc.) but the complete garden.
I've destroyed my bean and didn't get an additional chance to get one. and kinda disappointed with the hero quest I thought would get some cool story quest system with different character and cool magical buildings that we can built and some cool nightbore and what not, but it's just deccoration and random buffs, the building system seems plain the vegies basically decoration, either wheat or veggie. kinda lame. I Love the concept but they miss a lot of potential.
@@Froggy_Bomb I mean it's just for different looking vegetables cosmetic literal decorative for the player but not for the gameplay, it didn't add any benefits like crop rotation or something like that either..

Wishlisted this when i saw it on your channel the first time. Insta-bought it when it came out this week. About 10 hours in now or so. Zero regrets.

Looks very chill and idyllic.

I think you can't move housing at all. You can move many of the production buildings, but i think Homesteads and other Housing is fixed once built.
I have been just building an extra home where i want it, then destroying the one i no longer want
Is that the Shrek outhouse

The veggies are not just decorative, though. However many you place down, that's how many get planted and harvested in each cycle of growth.
