Yeah Hook was spamming 236S. BUT if you keep getting hit with "random" 236S's in neutral that's on you. Vegeta's 236S is gonna expose people's bad defense. I get being frustrated by it when they react with a DP or a vanish when you try to SD it after blocking, but if he just does a "random" 236S and you get hit by it over and over and over and OVER again. . .that's your fault.

I mean its pretty predictable. If dude jumps in the air with SSJ Vegeta, you can 8/10 assume hes about to ki blast. Then the guy spamming 236s burn bar with a vanish maybe repeats this twice before 236s into ex kick or dp, people could counter him as well using Upward beams though they are rare.

Imagine if that beam buff wasn't a thing and his changes actually felt unique.
My biggest issue is you can't punish a beam the same way at all any more. Most people will cancel into SD regardless of the situation. So you just have to wait, instead of actually "beating" the beam. It's just will you/won't you SD so I can 2H.
Maybe after more time, and that becomes the norm, people will stop spamming SD.
