May Allah bless sheikh Abu khadeeja however I feel that he is being a bit too strict in regards to sinful Muslims. We all sin and if a Muslim starts struggling with a certain sin he/she should still have the right to have pious companions to be there for them, advise them when they're struggling, and help them overcome that sin, not be harsh with them or abandon them, unless abandoning them will actually make them feel bad or you're abandoning them because they're too persistent and now they want to misguide others as well. This is the view of sheikh ul islam ibn taymiyyah, sheikh al albani, and sheikh arafat muhammadi, and I folow this position as a laywoman myself. (see sahih muslim 2699 and sahih bukhari 6780). Nevertheless sheikh Abu khadeeja’s advice was spot on. May Allah protect us all and guide us all. Ameen.
It’s never strict when the one close to you is committing sin it’s very dangerous because we may fall into the same sin never underestimate sin big or small yes we all sin he is talking about people that keep sinning with the same sin showing no remorse
@@MatthewBumpers yea I addressed that I’m still sticking to the opinion I follow but I get what you mean and again I’ve addressed that In short I meant if someone keeps sinning and is persistent and shameless about it and starts manipulating you and misguiding others in any way then that’s when you put your foot down and distance without causing fitna or setting a bad example but don’t do it right away the moment you see someone struggling with a sin yk
