Leny Romero yeah, in the graphic novel where the show is adapted from he does die and Alyssa cuts his name in his arm (and it's so creepy like wtf) but if they're doing the second season there's no way he's dead.

I mean, the show it's not very traditional and the relationship between James and Alyssa it's not the most healthy ofc but I'm soo glad the creators of the show left out the creepiest things of the graphic novel, leaving the good things like the voice overs or the overall black humor of it.
tbh i actually think james is dead or it’s eunice who shot the gun, but anyways if 13rw can make a dead character a ghost in the series they can do that with james, of course it would be heartbreaking for alyssa but james would still be there and he could guide alyssa through her heartbreak, maybe alyssa would say she was kidnapped by james like he asked
