Weird for her to be in legend and not know about this interaction yet.
This is one of the weirdest situations possible like any stealth taunt or when you return minion in enemy full hand it dying too, or when you shuffle a minion in the deck and you deck is full (60 cards) it was dying too. Or skeletons that summoned by Keltuzad blowing up bc they can't be summoned on full board.
@@impkiller5932 The Kel'thuzad one is not actually due to the mechanical interaction with full boards, but rather a specific effect of the card. It states "Battlecry: Resurrect your Volatile Skeletons. Any that can't fit on the battlefield instantly explode!"
If the second effect weren't included in the battlecry, it wouldn't cause any damage. Resurrect effects on a full board don't do anything. They cannot trigger a deathrattle, because the minion doesn't get summoned.
This could be tested with the original KT, who summons all friendly minions that died this turn, at the end of every turn. Have 10 minions with deathrattles die, then end turn. He will resurrect as many as you has board space, but won't trigger a single deathrattle.
