I knew there's going a crossover between hawaii five 0 and magnum pi ever since I saw the cameos of kamekona & noelani in several episodes of magnum pi. These shows are both based on hawaii and finally my favorite 2 shows have merged. It's good to see Mcgarett and Magnum working together on a case. I wanna see Macgyver and Mcgarett next. I wanna see these 2 Macs working together. Although they already did a macgyver and hawaii five 0 crossover.
Although I'm not interested in Magnum or McGyver, I thoroughly enjoyed this crossover with 5-0 and Magnum, it was wonderful! Because it was so good, I hope those shows will do more crossovers and from now on include Danny.

When Steve McGarrett & Jason Hayes meeting & teaming each other with the Five-O Task Force & Bravo Team in a episode that focuses on counter-intelligence or counter-terrorism mission. While Steve, Danno, Adam & Junior will join the Bravo Team in a joint mission in somewhere in China in the other episode.
Now that the reboot of Hawaii Five-0 has been cancelled after 10 season, it would be interesting if there were to be a 2-part story of Magnum, P.I. in which Thomas Magnum & Steve McGarrett cross paths again and this case they both get called up in their reserve duty to the U.S. Navy in which Five-0 is needed in this case as well. It would also be good if McGarrett gets aid from the NCIS agents from Los Angeles he met before.
I suppose that's up to Alex O'Loughlin and whether he's interested. I wonder how the actors feel about their respective franchises now that Lenkov is gone.
Had Gordon Katsumodo been there, he would've been honored to meet Steve McGarrett and to see that he and Magnum have something in common, which is that they're both US Navy SEALS and that they followed in their fathers' footsteps. But it would've been good to know if Katsumodo said that he knew Steve McGarrett's father, who became a cop after leaving the United States Navy.
The original Magnum,P.I. series began the same year the original Hawaii Five-0 ended after 12 seasons. It would‘ve been good to see Jack Lord make a special guest appearance on the original Magnum series as Steve McGarrett,but he retired from acting in 1980.
And in the pilot episode of the original Magnum he does reference McGarrett in voiceover. In a later episode in the first season Higgins does call Five-O.
I was waiting for this episode. I'm so there. I want to see Kats mix it up with the 5-0 over jurisdiction, Quinn develop a thing for Magnum and McGarrett making a move on Higgy.

Since the 2018 Magnum P.I. series is over, they should bring those characters back in the NCIS shows since it's canon in the NCIS franchise that is part of the JAG-verse because the 2018 Magnum P.I. characters crossover with the characters from Hawaii Five-0 and the characters from Hawaii Five-0 crossover with the characters from NCIS: Los Angeles.

It would be interesting to if David James Elliott,who appeared in 3 episodes of 1 of the JAG spinoffs,NCIS:Los Angeles,make a special guest appearance on Hawaii Five-0 reprising the character of Harmon Rabb,Jr again and to see if McGarrett's father did or didn't meet Harmon Rabb,Sr a long time ago when those 2 men were in the Navy and in Vietnam.
Danny is a main star, but by contract he does about 5 fewer episodes per season so he can spend time with his family in LA. He's still in nearly 20 episodes per season, though I wish he didn't miss any.
And even when he is in an episode he barely has screen time anymore and his character arc doesn't seem to be going anywhere. And its sad Grace and Charlie are no longer featured. I also miss the arguments between him and Steve. It feels like their no longer as close as before.......
Agreed. They need to give Danny a good character arc again, since it seems everyone else has one in progress, and we need a lot more scenes between him and Steve. I don't want them to always argue, either, because their serious or non-arguing fun conversations are so satisfying. They seem to have forgotten how to be creative with Danno's character, shame on them for that because he's a fine actor who could handle anything they give him.

Danny is a main star, but by contract he does about 5 fewer episodes per season so he can spend time with his family in LA. He's still in nearly 20 episodes per season, though I wish he didn't miss any.
And even when he is in an episode he barely has screen time anymore and his character arc doesn't seem to be going anywhere. And its sad Grace and Charlie are no longer featured. I also miss the arguments between him and Steve. It feels like their no longer as close as before.......
Agreed. They need to give Danny a good character arc again, since it seems everyone else has one in progress, and we need a lot more scenes between him and Steve. I don't want them to always argue, either, because their serious or non-arguing fun conversations are so satisfying. They seem to have forgotten how to be creative with Danno's character, shame on them for that because he's a fine actor who could handle anything they give him.
