Your videos gave me all the details I was looking for, probably saving me weeks of trying to find all the little windows and tricks to get into everything. Well done!
I Got their Total Studio MAX package for a ridiculously low price as a cross grade. Tremendous value. Very useful video. I have has some tracks stuff for years but just used intermittently but it now looks pretty complete so I may be cancelling my Slate Subscription.
Hello. Dithering is a little bit confusing in t-racks. Let s say my mix is in 24 bit, and i want to export it for cd (16 bit). Question 1. If I use the Stealth Limiter and select there the dithering for 16 bit, should I also select dithering in export? Question 2. If I don t use a limiter like Stealth Limiter (who has dithering in it), what type of dithering should I choose from the export menu? Thanks.
Very good walk through, thanks. Does the wave view 'normalise' the wave picture for viewing purposes? It looks like it does as all the waveforms of your clips look 'full'.
Alternatives to Ozone? Was having the discussion with someone i know and i realised i don`t know any. Basically i don`t care so much for the Ozone plugins but i like the workflow of the Standalone Suite. I would just like to know if there is a similar Suite out there where i can use 3rd party plugins and have a similar Export comfort. If you use a Daw you will have to do time consuming workarounds if you want for example to master an album. In Ozone exporting multiple tracks is pretty conveniently solved. Still. 1) Is Ozone the only Mastering Suite like that out there? 2) From what i see . T-Racks does not accept 3rd party plugins or am i getting it wrong?

You need to download them from your IK Multimedia account. Go to User Area, click My Products, look for Signature Presets below the TrackS 5 Custom Shop.
yeah.. and then there's the Slate stuff, they do a bundle deal: all the plugins (+ any new ones which come out you get them immediately), and all for 15 bucks a month on an annual subscription which is a very good idea (you must pledge to 12 months like a phone contract). My son just got the slate bundle & he loves it so far. Maybe IK Multimedia should implement a similar 'subscription' plan. Makes sense in these days of austerity-all-round for the average joe.
I think eventually all of the companies will have some kind of subscription model. It just makes sense. I did the annual subscription with Slate for $129. Been a T-Racks user for years. This is the greatest update since they started.

When exporting the audio montage, is it one long track or is it a file with the tracks separated in the order you put them in?

Interesting point... the GUI resizes smoothly... shame not all the onboard Logic plugins do so as well!

Do you have to purchase the Max version to get the Producer Presets? I have the basic version and I don't see them.

cyorkgo agreed, subscriptions seems the way to go for companies with a bigger selection of plugins.
