I have a vague recollection of this. Or it was probably just seeing it on a greeting card. I was somewhere around 3 when this came out (and when a lot of things you plan to review this year did). Side note: I absolutely love listening to you speak. Something about a Scottish accent on a woman is just indescribably enticing.
From the wikipedia article for this film: Charles Solomon of The Los Angeles Times said, "Both the writing and the animation in The Adventures of the American Rabbit are so inept that the viewer expects the governor to interrupt the film and declare the theater a disaster area!"
Literally the only reason I know about this thing's existence is because of Bobsheux's "Let's Watch" of this, and I can see why I've never heard of it until now
Me and my mate found this on Netflix a few months back, thought we'd watch it for a laugh... got about 15 minutes in I think, not a single laugh was had. Anyways, this looks like a fun series, gonna be taking a look at F.R.O.7? It's certainly weird/obscure enough.
Ah this movie. I grew up watching it so I have a bit of a nostalgia soft spot for it (as I have for the animated Transformers Movie and the early Land Before Time movies) but I have to say I do remember it feeling really disjointed at times. Kinda like someone spliced together a montage of events from seperate TV episodes.
If I may make a suggestion for a long-forgotten cartoon, I'd like to suggest a movie called "Gallavants". It's an 80's movie made by a company called Marvel Productions (No, not THAT Marvel). It was one of my childhood favorites but looking back on it now I wonder how I could survive the tormenting cheesiness of the film. It's definitely worth watching just for the pure sake of saying "why does this exist?!" at the end.
"Hooray for consistency in theme and subject, dear lord what have I done to myself?" Oh yeah, I hadn't forgotten your vent on negativity. Especially the results after you reviewed, "The Swan Princess."
I have a request/suggestion for a "Snackage". A 1979 dub anime my dad bought me and my sister when I was little called "Ninja The Wonderboy". I have yet to meet anyone (including hardcore anime fans) that have ever heard of this anime. It has an awesome score through out every episode that's sung by the American band "Bullets". In the chance you want to look into this, all 10 episodes can be found on TH-cam. The original Japanese version had 24 episodes. When It came to the U.S, it was heavily edited to 10 episodes.
Could you do a Manxmouse review at some point? It was made in 1989, so not QUITE 30 yet, but it is really a product of the mid/late 80's style of cartoon. I loved it as a kid, but what I remember of it is so garbled with the other movies and TV shows on the same tape that I can't remember if the story was just that messy, or I am remembering it wrong. The animation is...passable, not the best, but by far not the worst of that era. And the voice acting was actually not bad. there were a few moments that I could have said belonged in the Nostalgia Critic's newest top 11 (again, if I remember correctly.) Over all me and cousin both have fond memories of the movie, even if it was because we had no quality filters as we do now.
The sad part is that I love this movie, and I don't find it horrendous and anyway. sure no film has a perfect record, and this one has its flaws I will not dispute that fact, but it is not horrendous, if you don't like it that's your prerogative, all I have to say is that I don't understand why people hate the stuff I love.
Shew, looks awful. And I grew up watching the original Flintstones, Scooby-Doo and the like. Especially Bugs Bunny. They had some bad stuff back then (well, at least compared to now), but I've never seen this. I wonder how I could've missed it.
my pony is a unecorn is red is air, tail is rainbow is the leader of element of fearmony is cutie marck is 3 cutie marck a sonic raiboom,12 friend,a bow is travol time travol dimandshien
geez that movie was boring even when I remember that name bring back memories how forgettable that movie. I mean it's not the worst stuff I have seen but it's really boring just saying
you know how you say how the rabbit lets the bad guys get away to harm his family friends and sweetheart well theres 2 explanations as why the 1 is that the writers were lazy and just had the villians get away so the movie could go on longer the 2 is the rabbit is intentionally letting them get away so that he can stop their plans save people and look good and in order to keep up the act he lets them go. At least thats my opinion so none of this can be true and its completely my opinion on the matter. no has to agree. not even you mad munchkin.
It looks like good abridging fodder to me... It darn sure needs a script. Would American rabbit vote trump? Undoubtedly , all the while praising America and whacking it to the pledge of alligence...could it be made funny through abridgment... .?? That is the question.
you like tormenting yourself with these awful movies dont you. i guess someone has to critique them, and it might as well be someone who is already a little on the insane side. :P
Bugs Bunny meets American patriotism, what could possibly go wrong? xD
One of his old shorts actually ends with a bit of American patriotic flair. it's not as painful as this though.
Nelson Demifur I think there were a whole bunch of patriotic episodes/shorts back in the war... they're insane o.O
Tyandaga they were but Super Bugs wasn't that insane. If I got the title right
+Tyandaga Bugs was actually very patriotic and fought the Nazis. And those episode were actually some of his best.
Prince Thunderflare yeah. As global as he is, his home is always the US. Heck one short states he was born in Brooklyn
I have a vague recollection of this. Or it was probably just seeing it on a greeting card. I was somewhere around 3 when this came out (and when a lot of things you plan to review this year did).

This is " PROTOTYPE SONICHU "
yay she's back!
+Louis Place *sitcom applause track*
I was looking for this! Thank you!
The thumbnail didn't load for me, and from the title I thought you were actually gonna eat a rabbit.
+ɽɛᴛʀoғʟɛχ It's ok, youtube is being weird with the thumbnail.
Mad Munchkin what is a thumbnail

As someone who's seen the full thing (even as an American), I'm kinda glad this was forgotten.
How this got released in both US & UK cinemas,I’ll never know!!! 😟
"Oh dear Lord! What have I done to myself?" LOL

How about a review ofthe old Flight of Dragons movie for this series?

WB, Maddie!

I LOVE THIS MOVIE! I own the DVD!
It's adorable!
If you play the dvd backwards does it summon the ghost of Ronald Reagan?
ATSucks1 lol! No but that would be awesome!
Eszra 01 That’s actually impossible if superstitions don’t exist. A DVD has files. It’s not like a vinyl record.
Sooooo? Transformers movie 1987?
It was what I grew up with but the cartoon movie was fifty fifty for me.
+Vector Brony Originally released in 1986, yeh. I'll be making a 'Blethers' episode on that. Because it deserves it. :)
+Mad Munchkin
In a good way or a bad way? Because I like the original animated Transformers movie. Way better than Michael Bay's horrible adaptations.
Yeah, mindless.
Huh. Well that happened. Sounds about as bad as The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. What are doing? Don't google it! You'll wake the sleeping giant.
I've never been this early
wow, your right that is bad
