Ghosts of Marcel Dupré but magnificently it's own boss, original and beautifully executed. If this is the great master's tombeau, he can expect a joyous resurrection!
Cette oeuvre virtuose (digne de Dupré) magnifique est formidablement bien jouée .Elle mérite d'être connue et jouée (à condition d'avoir une brillante technique d'orgue) . Merci , bravo et félicitations .
Randall, I am thoroughly impressed with this scintillating and virtuosic work!! What a phenomenal piece of organ repertoire. I absolutely love this and your performance was completely phenomenally captivating! This is so fiery and powerful, and also a work I’ve not heard once before now! Thank you for uploading this magnificent gem to the organ community!!
Thank you. I first heard this on John Scott's recording where he uses the acoustic to really play an important part in the overall dynamic. I have heard other performances but none as good as Scotts and now I can also say yours. This is a work that needs to be heard more frequently. Thank you for your great performance. It is ridiculous that Hendrie's Tombeau is out of print. The Tombeau, whilst influenced, is not mere pastiche it has its own integrity and is just a great listening experience.
Brilliant playing of such fine music! Bravo!!
