- At Madrasana, we occasionally experiment with new music genres, and the MadRasana Music Festival 2023 was one such occasion. This show featured The Indian Choral Ensemble (TICE) . Not only was the music different, but its presentation was also unique. The ensemble consisted of nearly 40 singers and four instrumentalists, with the singers spread throughout the auditorium to create a true surround sound experience. Except for the musicians on stage, almost all the singers' audio was captured using just a pair of microphones placed at the back. You may hear some audience noise, but when listened to on headphones, it provides a full acoustic sound experience. Try it out and let us know what you think!

So soulful and absorbing. Thoroughly enjoyed.
Wonderful. If this could be recorded in a studio with quality recordings, it will turn out to be even more fabulous to listen to. Thanks.
I think this version feels more amazing. I feel like I am sitting there in the audience. Great quality 💯💯💯
@@lakshmansrivatsav Yes I understand and I like this flavour too. But a well arranged studio recording will be more accurate & allow me to play it on speakers.
What a heart warming rendition! Salute to all those involved in this creation. How I wish to be in that hall to experience it live !
Absolute MAGIC...Harmonics on point.

Very nice. Good work, but Mr CR Subbaraman, the original composer of this song should be given credit. Don't you think so?
Yes, it was an oversight. I have now added that to the description. Thanks for keeping an eye out for our misses.
why the composer name left
It was a miss. Added now. Thanks for letting us know.
Harmony didn't work ,some how it sounds like voices not in synch . Or this krithi is not suitable for church kind of music. Where ever they didn't attempt different sruthis worked better
This isn't church music. It's just music. :)
@@neerajmselvaganapathy6007 i didnt mean this is church music. Chorus and harmony is used by Western music and popularised by Church music.the same technique is applied here.if it is dine well may sound good but here some mismatch i felt over all
Your attempt is good but not great as the voice coherence in the choral ensemble doe not mingle 100%. More practice would have created the much needed impact. Kindly treat these comments as my own expressions about your performance. Not criticizing but make room for improvement. At some points the raga goes awry. I have heard a lot of program by M B Sreenivasan. who was a great exponent of this ensemble music. R VISWANATH, RAJAKILPAKKAM, CHENNAI 73.
Thank you very much for your valuable feedback, sir. Our choir is committed to growth, and we will certainly work on suggested improvements.
