Thank you nurse moms for what you do. Very informative. I have learnt a lot from your platform and I have started my recognition journey with CORU as a physiotherapist. I would really appreciate if we can have a physiotherapist who has gone through this on your platform some day too. God bless you
I'm a medical student in belarus and would be graduating soon i want to know if i can take pres immediately after medical school or i have to do my internship here first before I'm eligible for the exam. And also can i take plab 1 instead of pres 2 and take pres 3 directly. Thank your
I'm a M.D. graduated in EU, I was wondering what's MRCPI exam? I'm a bit confused and appreciate if you can help please this video was perfect by the way.
Good information , But it is really hard to find a job for a JR Doctor with full IMC registraiton and internship in another country. The websites such as HSE and glassdoor and others , are not helping since they require SHO or REgstrars with 3 plus years exp.
Thank you so much NurseMomo for this video!!! I have been searching to hear from an IMG Doctor working at Ireland. Dr AJ has given me loads of answers to questions I had. However, I am currently an intern back home 🇳🇬, so my question is, after writing and passing the PRES exams, would I have to be a HO in the Irish medical hierarchy or I’ll be an SHO from the fact that I gain some years of experience back home? Or it wouldn’t matter and I would start from HO? I hope my question is understandable. Looking forward to hear from you ❤
Reply from Dr AJ below 👇 So basically the internship needs to be recognised. If the internship is recognised as per IMC requirements (this will be clarified when they apply for general medical council registration), then they can start a job as a senior house officer (SHO). I did that. I completed internship in Prague, and my first job in Ireland was that of a SHO. Hope it helps Goodness.
I have a question. I am a graduate from Romania(EU), but I'm not enrolled in the Romanian medical Council due their requirements or the residency placement exam to gain the right to practice, tho I'm licensed. The question is do I need to be enrolled and (active) in the medical Council of the country I graduated in or is it not necessary?

Does having a full UK GMC registration exempt you from the PRES exam?
