- 15 Minecraft Bugs Mojang Never Fixed! Minecraft has some famous glitches, and while most of the time they get removed, some bugs and issues never get patched out. By this point, some of these MInecraft bugs might be called features in Minecraft 1.16. Whether it's minecraft's most famous mob, quasi connectivity redstone, or even tnt duplication machines, these still exist to this day. So, let's see just how many glitches, bugs, and now features exist in Minecraft today in this Skip the Tutorial list!

The reason creepers are hostile is because players know of their embarrassing pig backstory, and don't like it. When they overhear you laughing about their mistake, they snap and explode in a fireball of anger.

This is what I love about Mojang. If they find a bug that people love, they'll make it a feature. While other game companies will fix it and ruin the fun for everyone. Mojang actually wants people to have fun.

I remember in 2016 bedrock when you could enchant a sword with all of the enchantments at the same time. Boy did i had some fun with my protection 5 sword.

I remember having to use the bow trick back in 1.10, I would always have a stack of food on hand to regen health while I'm flying around.
My favorite bug is forcing the player collision down, that way I can fit into one block spaces easily.

This actually upsets me knowing that I had a maxed out enchanted bow with both infinity and mending, in which I lost after fighting the Wither (bedrock)
You missed the fact that instead of having the screen tilt to the right when you take damage it’s supposed to tilt toward where you took damage from.
Quasi connectivity is literally one of the most useful features in Minecraft redstone, along with sticky pistons being able to spit out block with a one tick pulse. Without those 2, so many complicated contraptions would be impossible or much bigger!
Yeah, but both of em are bugs. They'll not fixed it because of what your comment says and it is used in literally 95% contraptions.

Because players found quasi-connectivity to be so useful, they decided to classify it as a feature instead of trying to patch it. If you check on the Minecraft bug tracking/reporting, quasi-connectivity is actually now marked as 'working as intended'.
I believe sticky pistons have the same story. I mean, they designed the observer to spit out a one-tick pulse, which specifically takes advantage of that sticky piston behavior.

Fun Fact: The damage tilt you get is also a bug. It is not intended to move one way the entire time and was originally tilted towards where you got damaged from like a mob or arrow. But when Minecraft single-player worlds became LAN or servers, there was a bug that told the camera the wrong information, and Mojang chooses not to fix the bug.

yeah, I joined a new world 2 hours ago and I was SHOCKED when I saw that cliffs/mountains were above clouds/cloud level. there wasn't a sky limit anymore and I was terrified, I thought minecraft went back to it's beta days
It'd be cool to be able to enchant a stack of gravity falling blocks (sand, gravel, concrete powder) with silk touch to place them like the world gen ones that don't fall until block updated.
When I was a little boy I read in my Minecraft book that the creeper was born from a coding bug.....
I though that that meant there was a bug that talked in code, and had a baby..........
Now I know what a coding bug is because I make games -.- I was so stupid back then...

Gotta be honest, I love that creepers were never patched, and I see them as the mascot of Minecraft, alongside Steve and Alex. Heck, the creeper's face is in the A of Minecraft

For anyone wondering about the the thumbnail, it is called bud powering and if you power a piston and remove the power in a way, it remains powered until it is updated or meaning it checked and saw that it isn’t supposed to be powered if you update it. Most people in the red stone community use this to their advantage and don’t count it as a glitch

Oh my lord, that part where the boat crashed into that beach just reminded me that boats used to break when ramming into blocks and dropped sticks and planks instead of the boat itself

IIRC, they've actually classified it as a feature now, according to the bug reports.

I had never realized that tnt duping not being patched was as a result of the lack of movable tile entities in java. May it last.
As for the others I am very happy that they are still around and commonly now just straight up intended.
My current suit of armor is from that 1.14 enchantment bug. Given how long it was in the snapshots I assumed it was a feature and so didn't exploit it as much as I could have before it was removed, but I've still got a pretty fancy set of gear.

recent personal discovery: flying is less expensive if you make a trident with riptide and combine with elytra with mending, always keep it storming

What is happening
Budding/quazi connectivity isnt a glitch, it has been recognised as a feature by mojang, as well as BED(Block Event Delay) and 0 ticks (the instant block teleportation not the farms that everyone thinks are the only 0 ticks out there.). If you wanna know 0 ticks look at someone like alugia7.
alugia7 is a god.
Not only did Creepers become a feature, but they became a huge part of the game. Creepers were created by accident, and now they're basically the face of Minecraft.
In one of my programming classes at uni we learned all about the coding of creepers, and how sometimes "mistakes" can actually turn out better than what you meant to do.

In the first 1.17 snapshot for bundles, there was this glitch where you could duplicate any block of ore, so I got 46 diamond blocks from it!

Useful Fact: in bedrock, if you travel fast enough, the chunks can’t load in fast enough and therefore let you see through the world for a short time.
It's also not so useful because if you're achieving it through flying you can slam into an invisible wall

Quasi-connectivity makes Redstone in Minecraft Java Edition so confusing.
It's what makes it so powerful
If everybody could understand the redstone then it would not be funny
The fact of the matter is that redstone is a logic based system, illogical bugs that exist within java defeat the purpose of a logic system and just discourage players learning and using redstone
@@imdadirtydan I mean, everything in Java will work the same every time you run it, meanwhile in Bedrock things might seem more logical bu everything is slower and sometimes it will work differently if you power it multiple times.

The same goes gor Mending and Infinity on a bow. On my old main world I had one and I miss it a lot
I still have mine, though I've very nearly lost it for good a few times. I remember being unexpectedly overwhelmed and dying while exploring deep in the Nether. There was _no_ way I was going to be able to a) locate the exact co-ordinates I died at, and b) get there fast enough before my inventory despawned, even with knowing that the despawn timer doesn't tick down until the chunk the items are in is loaded.
_Unless..._ I use a world seed viewer website to _roughly_ guess where I had been, copy the world files to a duplicate save, turn _that_ save into Creative mode, use Creative mode to fly around in the Nether until I find my dropped items, build a Nether portal nearby, go through and jot down the Overworld co-ordinates (which was over 10,000 blocks from anywhere I've previously explored), _then_ go back to my original Survival save and gather materials in order to travel those 10,000 blocks and build a Nether portal to go rescue my items, including my Infinity/Mending bow.
Perhaps a tad excessive but it certainly was worth it.

Creeper is basically The Beheaded Kamikaze level of enemy, but in Minecraft, and despite the origins being Notch's mistake in model properties - Creepers make like a good quarter of the game's overall popularity, so much so that their face ALONE is insantly recognized as Minecraft.
I would pay to see an update where creepers kinda just stare at pigs when a player isn’t around

A few hours ago I was messing around with a woodland mansion in creative when I found in a Chest a leather cap with efficiency I. (Bedrock edition)

Luckily for bedrock players, you can crawl by building a water source that is 2 blocks tall or over beside a 1 block hole, you can swim into that hole and if its long enough, you can crawl

To be technical: the first one has been fixed because pigs exist normally while aspects of the glitch were added with altered mechanics

Giving up tnt duping for moveable tile entities would be well worth it. It would make some tasks much harder but the things we could pull off with moveable tile entities would be equally impressive.
bedrock has that but everyone dislikes it for its bugs
@@pixelfoxshouse Bedrock to me is nothing more than a clone (official or not), and if it's buggy people will love it with age. Just look at other unplanned features of the game either due to bad coding or a java limit that people came to love and appreciate. Maybe the slight buggyness will allow for some other use case that the technical side can learn so we can all enjoy.
@@ITpanda there are good bugs like bedrock trident killers, but there are various flaws in the code making for annoying bugs like block lag etc.
it does have its pro and cons, but i dont find java better than bedrock or vice versa.

Fun fact: There is a bug in Bedrock that when bumping on a solid block while gliding on an elytra, for some reason your collision box will not reset and you can go to a 1 by 1 hole without crawling.
