My water motor load is 1kw(4.5A).I set load 10A, protection time 0.1s on this device(amici smart for single phage).When I switch on the motor the device trip the current.Again I increase the protection time upto 10s, then motor is running but the device show both the green and red(load) light.When I switch off the motor, the device shows both green and red light continue. Again I set load 20A on this device, then the motor is running.That's why sir.My motor load is not 20A.

@@amicikart Could you kindly explain why it doesn't require a circuit breaker at the input. What if the device goes faulty or if theres a shorting at the device, it will burn the meter down. I only have a cb installed at the input, and the output directly goes to the waterpump. Also, these devices don't have any protection mechanisms in case of a short?
As faults specially short circuit faults occure on the load side, and there is MCB already installed between Load and this device. So meter is safe. This device will always gets faulty in open circuit mode when high current happens due to load. Another condition of over voltage happens from Input side in that case circuit breaker does not work. This device will save your hope equipments but meter can still be burnt. And you are not responsible for that as meter is a govt. Property and high voltage also happens due to govt. Line Fault.
