I mean seriously, what other rapper in their early 30s spent the last 3 weekends rock climbing and exploring caves with their 60+ y/o dad? So much respect. Legit Tom I've been following you for 3 years and every Friday when you release a video I go out to my truck and I listen to that song two or three times and then I go watch reaction videos for like the next couple of days because one of my joys is watching other people discover your music and listen to your music and I watch the reactions on their face and as I was watching this video when you first started introducing your family and Nova and your sister and your mom and dad came in and everything as a 33-year-old adult who's been to federal prison and I've graduated a Bible college and I helped start a celebrate recovery and I've been through a lot of abuse when I was a kid I can tell you that as a grown ass man in my truck I was bawling my eyes out... Legit I could not stop crying for about 10 or 15 minutes and that message there at the end when you were talking about a shout out to the fans I just want you to know that there is nobody and there will never be anybody like you because I always tell people when they say I don't listen to rap because I live down here in the south they're all about country I say listen there's nobody like Tom when you go and look at your comments there's all kinds of stuff like I'm an 87-year-old grandmother and I've never listened to rap but I like what this young man has to say or I'm a 72-year-old Vietnam vet and I like this young kid He's a real patriot or I'm a 55-year-old father of three and I've never heard anybody talk like this man before he helped my son get off drugs... I feel like I belong with hangover gang and I feel like this is a group of people who can all stand together and we have somebody who speaks for us who helps us get the words out that sometimes we can't think of but we're feeling on the inside and you are our voice and we all stand together. And when I tell you that I graduated Bible college and I got ordained I don't preach I just do evangelism but I was very happy to see that you talked more about your faith in God in this video than you ever have and you confirmed it and that just set my heart and my soul at peace I can't wait to be with you when we're in heaven together chilling with Jesus that's going to be like the most awesome time. People really don't get it. I grew up poor and was homeless at one point. I dug myself out of that and my life's dream was to buy my Father the car he had when he was a teenager that he was in love with and had to sell to take care of my family. A 1967 Ford Fairlane. It might not be much to some but it was his dream. I went from being homeless to being a Logistics Consultant and making good money. I was going to buy him that car for his birthday that year and he got in a tragic accident and died. I never got to do what Tom did for his Dad and I think about it all the time. What an incredible feeling that must be. I envy him.
