Calcar's "gatling gun" could be firing Tracer rounds rather than lasers. now granted, the fact that his gimmick shows him firing two at a time, when a gatling gun typically only fires one barrel at a time.
There is something about the Euro G1 figures that I have seen so far that really bugs me, where are the faction badges? Fear Swoop, Clench, Calcar, none of them had Decepticon emblems on them.
The weapon gimmick on these is pretty fun. I wonder if modern versions of these characters could maintain the same functionality. The mechanism doesn't seem too complicated and is mostly plastic (and maybe a small mirror, I think?).
The lightformer gimmick looks really fun and imaginative, and I love the headsculpt, it makes the euro-g1 decepticons look like shock troopers
That gimmick is deceptively simple and brilliantly executed. Also the face reminds me of Beast Wars Depth Charge.
We need more Euro G1 transformers remade as new figures. Imagine Legacy Point Blank being heavily retooled into this
His full name is Calvin Carson.
I legit thought his name was Cowcar the entire time.
Calcar looks pretty cool for a Euro G1 toy
I would actually be okay with the color scheme if it were more pink and less red. Play up the garishness, make it look as 80's as possible.

You know what? Thank you for reviewing this. Its neat to see an older figure I really didnt know existed.
Requested this for how little I've seen anyone cover him
He could have a laser chain gun, and those do exist in sci-fi.
(Also, it just me, or is the power of Euro G1 throwing off the colour balance hard?)
I really like these straightforward reviews.
That new Reactivate Bumblebee would be a great base for a modern version of Calcar.
Really putting the random in random review
It looks like something barbie would be driving
Oh man, that was so cool! Thanks to the Patreon requester. I loved that review. What a great toy.

The European division of Decepticons knew how to be actually stealthy.
You've never heard of a Rotary Laser? It alternates barrels to permit rapid fire without overheating.
Euro G1 does have some fun idea
Really missed seeing new random reviews, so getting to see one with my favorite era of vintage transformers is awesome!

Considering his altmode, could the "Cal" part possibly stand for California?
Did anyone else see a Stormtrooper face in that head sculpt?
I was thinking of Darth Vader!
I love the colors and his face. Calcar also means "to trace" (a drawing) in spanish
Vertysnapsales does pretty high quality reprolabels for a lot of Euro Transformers.
The lower legs folding out the opposite way was really interesting to me.
i love euro g1 toys there wacky and makes you eyes explode
I just got one in last week. perfect timing
Neat little guy
Really cool to see the lightformer gimmick in action, never seen it before.
That said, am I crazy, or does the video have a weird pink tint to it?
Hmmm....
This has me thinking.....
Tbh, Calcar looks more like a Roofless Suv than a buggy
How long have ye had that toy?
