Louise!! Thank you! I must admit there was one coming but I loved it just as it was so it’s hanging in my art room in the higher creations so it doesn’t get covered in paint. I can’t wait to see your newest ornament video 😍💙😍
Super WOW! Love that exquisite color palette! Definitely looks on fire. Love how you pour slowly, not rushing the process. You have such control of the canvas enabling you to keep the design and colors you desire without losing them over the edge.
It looks very planet like with stormy clouds surrounding it... It's a really cool look, Marie-Louise! The little cells and lacing enhance the galaxy planet look. I've never done a straight pour, either. I've been studying Sheldon's method... he is a genius with a straight cloud pour. I can't wait to see what you did with your spray paint magic! ☺️ planet 🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐
Ooooh I must take a look at Sheldon’s straight pour again. It caught my eye last time I looked too! Thank you darling! These are a lot of fun! Those little cells were such a surprise. More to come next thinks. I’d love to see what you create. If you are on WhatsApp you could send me some of your painting pics 😍
Haha! Well my lovely I thought about the Great Red Spot of Jupiter! But, the dominant red colour and swirling texture of the image more closely resemble the appearance of Mars, while the lack of Jupiter's characteristic swirling storms and bands of color, including its famous Great Red Spot, make it a less likely match for Jupiter.
Oh thank you!Haha! Well my lovely I thought about the Great Red Spot of Jupiter! I must admit, I thought the dominant red colour and swirling texture of the image more closely resemble the appearance of Mars, while the lack of Jupiter's characteristic swirling storms and bands of colour, including its famous Great Red Spot, make it a less likely match for Jupiter. But then I see what you mean too! 😂😁😍 Love it and love you 💜
Wow Marie Louise! This piece has so many interesting areas! From the clouds to the cells and the tiniest of them. Bold and Beautiful planet…..though…I do see a rose ❤
Does this make me think of Mars?.....absolutely! Despite suggesting that this is a "really simple colour palette", the end result is quite complex in it's details. Although "redolent" (excuse the pun!) of the surface of Mars, this is probably more like the surface of Mars millions of years ago, when liquid water still flowed across it's surface. I say that because images from the current Mars rover suggest a generally uniform shade of red, whereas I imagine when water was present, a far greater range of colour tones. The Mars rover images are a reminder of how rocky and uneven the surface is, and this painting recreates in my imagination that sense of "roughness" and the rock strewn appearance I associate with Mars.....I love it!! As always.... well done 😊
I love your explanation! Thank you for your sweet encouragement dear Twinny! The dominant red colour and swirling texture of the image more closely resemble the appearance of Mars. 😍💙😍🪐⭐️
Ok this turned out SO COOL. I’m with Jane in that I think its more like Jupiter than Mars. You did an amazing job with this wandering straight pour. wowowowowow. Love the colors you used!!
