Sometimes, even just one of these infractions can do permanent damage that'll cause a downturn in fortunes for what was once a prosperous career.
But in the case of Kanye West, he's proven himself to be near indestructible in the eyes of his fans. No matter what absurd comments he makes, any instance where he lets the petty side of his personality out or scraps entire projects, his millions-strong audience is always willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on the grounds that it’s the pitfalls of being a genius.
..Or at least that was the case until the ill-fated Donda 2 experiment. in which he has suddenly found his name slipping away from dialogue around him being a creative in favour of discussions around the possibility that he’s been functioning more like a conman.

I went to the Donda 2 concert in Miami. It was THE WORST CONCERT I HAD EVER BEEN TO. The sound system was completely broken you couldn't understand one word. They had no jumbo Tron screen thing so you couldn't tell who was who and what was going on from the seats.
Whole concert was just watching silhouettes 400 feet away walk in circles while all you could hear was BRRRRRRRRRRRRBRRRBRBRRBRRBRBBRBRBBRR

The one thing I'll say is people should've learned by now that Kanye ever rarely delivers projects the way he says he will or when he says he will. I also think a lot of fans fell in love with him because of his crazy, outspoken and eccentric behaviour and that's why there are still so many stans sticking around. Donda 2 was a bit of letvdown but the greatest scam in hip hop is a bit much. Tbh i think that's taking is out of proportion becuz it is Kanye making a blunder but there have been far worse mistakes/scandals made in the rap game imo. In saying that tho, recently he has taken things too far for my likely and is trying to accomplish far too much and this video superbly demonstrates this from different perspectives.
Kanye may forever be famous, but there is a different between being notorious and well respected. He just needs to stick to basics, make good music like when he started with the college dropout and things will fall in line. For once in his life he just needs to knuckle down, stay out of trouble and just take some time to reflect and really think about his next move. He has a family to think about and its not just himself that his actions now affect. Take some accountability Ye, cuz the world ain't gonna do it for you!!!!!!!
