You will get in 2nd category or in worst case scenario you will get in 3rd category
Mostly the placement depends on the student not on the college, if you have good knowledge good exam records , practical knowledge then you are in.

I am planning to go to VIT Vellore as have got rank under 6k....After 4 years of BTECH IN VIT i will give tests for MBA...Pls tell me how am i going to study for MBA in the last 2 years of Btech in the college..Will they teach for MBA there?? PLS GUIDE IT WILL BE VERY HELPFUL...THe video was nice!
Put in a lot of effort & try to get into IIT's & NIT's not that VIT is bad or something but the kind of flexibility in hostel timings + freedom in attendence you will enjoy in Goverment colleges along with decent placements is something everyone aspires for unprecedently.
I luckily enjoyed everything in NIT BHOPAL & cherish it till date !!
Is B Plan good in NIT Bhopal?
Nit and VIT are not that far apart actually. Both have very good brand names and good placements. IIT is in another league.

P Block it means you are first year. It good to see first years giving advice about college and placed and industrial opportunity. Did you even face ffcs till now?
In short VIT:
Pros: VIT is a very good college and gives you lot of opportunity and has all the latest technology.
Cons: VIT is over crowded approx 8000+ student in a year. You have to work very hard for placement if you are not in CS or IT. Core branches don't have placement in core job, 10 out of 200 will get placed in core company. Average salary is 3-3.5 lac.

About the placements......the companies will come the whole final year and not only for 6 months.....they start coming just after a week after ur 7th sem starts in July and they come till the end of 8th sem......Placements is the best part of VIT hence there are more than 400 companies which comes here for campus placements.....of course most of them are for CSE and IT......most of the "Super Dream" companies (companies offering more than 10 lac CTC like Amazon, Directi, Paypal, DE Shaw, Cisco, Codenation etc) will come in July and August and they take very few people.....but yes the frequency as well as the standard of the company degrades as time passes, like most of the good companies will come till 7th sem and u will rarely find good companies in 8th sem so its good to get placed in 7th sem itself. There would be many days when u will have to sit for 2-3 comapnies on a single day. If u r from CSE or IT branch, u will definitely get placed (unless u don't have a standing arrear at that time) u just have to worry about which company u will get.

U said 600 mein se 98 ko super dream offer mila ok, ab yeh batao aisa kaun sa govt. College hai (EXCEPT IITs and FEW others) jo nearly 100 baccho ko 10 lakhs se zyada offer karta hai.
Most of the colleges have nearly 100 - 120 seats in cse out of them 90-95 % get placed that too not all get packages in crores or even above 10 lakhs considering the fact that those students worked really hard to get into those colleges.
Also u are including those students who got cse through lower categories, even in this scenario, VIT is providing nearly 90% placements.
Aur bhai agar 100 logon ka 10 lakhs se zyada package tumhe kam lag raha hai toh bhai youtube chod ke padhne baith jao aur lelo IIT mein admission. Lekin yahan baith kar senseless batein mat karo.
Kartikey Nigam bhai intake dekh le 700 bachcha cs mein ... dharamshala hain kya.. sabko milega 1 lakh jyada fees diya toh cs aapka...
700 mein 100 percentage dekh rha hain ... dusri baat baaki 600 ko mass recruiters le jaenge vohi 3 lpa ..

I missed VITEEE as I didn't knew about this clg.
.and i don't wanted to study in U.P as their education is not Soo good.... VITEEE was the only way to reduce the fee...as the fee of VIT is too much...😞

you dont have to pay exam fees separately,it is included in your tuition fee.
VIT doesnt provide any books.but there are plenty of books in the library.VIT's library is one of the best features of the college.Also everyone studies from PPTs and notes that the faculties provide.Very less number of people actually study from text books.

Can you tell what's the study plan for a cs student in 1st year like they start from basics?
And also other subjects
Study plan is more or less common for all branches in the first year.You will be taught basic coding in python and for other CSE subjects you will be expected to learn languages like C,C++ java,R etc. When it comes to learning different languages,you are expected to learn on your own.ONly programming concepts will be taught as part of the program.

If you get any backlog..then you can cover in next sem or weekend sem...but you have to pay 6k for it.....
Everyone has to complete their backlogs before sitting for placements.

Sreya reddy you kidding right?? last year I was laughing so hard that I can't even tell when I saw my rank , I got 24k rank in jee , and rank like 2k in state level exams and in Viteee perhaps the most easiest exam of them all I got 49k and I can tell you I was easily getting 95+ in it .

Que 1:) Dose electric bill r additional for ac room single bed room. . . . Que 2:) if i got rank above 5000 and i need cse branch then can i go for category 2 counselling and avail cse there? . . . . Que 3:) dose vit have separate class for category wise students or all students r mixed in every classroom?
Ans1:- For 1st year u don't have to give any extra charge for ac but from this year VIT start building centrailised ac system in junior blocks so for this I don't know.
Ans2:- If u get rank below 5k then u will surely get CS branch in 1st category. Counseling based purely on ranks.
Ans3:-All students are mixed.There is no separate class for catergory wise students.
