Tim, you're an amazing instructor. Thanks for putting these videos up for everyone to see. I've watched every single video, always getting something to help my game. As for this one, I could relate to the player dipping, then coming up on the ball as he makes contact. I get super low on all my swings but I almost always leave them too high, which causes them to come off the back wall. Any drills you recommend to help with this?

This is an awesome analysis Tim! I've just finish my coaching certification requirements at USAR and very impressed with your obvious knowledge as well as your ability to communicate. Good work!

I learnt the game by just going through all your videos. Haven't had a coach or anyone who knows the game teach me and I could still improve my game to beat everyone who I've faced at my university (sadly, we don't have a racquetball club at Auburn). Thank you so much for the upload :)

Wow, every single one huh? That is awesome to hear.
I'd have to see your swing to really know exactly what's happening. It might even be a grip issue. Do you leave shots up more on one side or the other? (Forehand or backhand).
I really like doing drop and hits (one bounce, no bounce and short hop). I set up low, drop the ball low, contact it low, and follow through low. It really helps me focus on the most important aspect of putting the ball away: staying low!

Yep, every video - you're sort of my virtual RB yoda...LOL
Frankly, everyone at my club uses the golf style swing so I've had to self teach myself using your website/videos.
My forehand follow-through is high and I use too much hip rotation, which has been tough to correct in a live game. Don't even want to discuss my backhand it's so bad. If I could ever get my butt to Vegas, I'd love to spend a hour or two doing some video analysis with you. Do you ever come out to the SF Bay Area?

Yes, the backhand can be a tricky one to master. You should practice playing frisbee until you master a nice, flat throw where the frisbee goes exactly where you want it to. Then hit the courts and use the same frisbee throwing motion as you're trying to hit your backhand.
Shoot me an email and I'll keep yours on file so that if I ever come to the Bay area we can schedule a lesson. My email is on my how to play racquetball website.
Hmmm....May change the URL to "Virtual RB Yoda" dot com.
