How does 'spiritual bypassing' fit in here, does anyone know? I'm in a dark night of the soul and the suffering is intense with so much childhood trauma coming forward into consciousness.. I've been advised to give up spiritual practice for the time being 😒 has anyone here been flooded with extreme mental suffering and confusion while on the path of Self Inquiriy. Would love to hear some encouraging words from those who have walked this way...thank you 🙏

It has happened to me and was extreme and painful
I couldn't sleep for days
And u shd stop meditating for a while and get stabilised
U could probably journal and write down ur feelings and trauma which will help u in a period of time
After u feel better strt meditation
For now remember all is well and ur just healing 🙂🙂♥️
When you enquire and meditate, every mental tendency comes up to be cleansed. Ask youself, “Is the awareness that is seeing the trauma traumatized? Is the awareness fearful?”
Writing is good too, for releasing, and physical exertion sometimes. AHAMcenter TH-cam channel has many videos that will guide you through your journey to your self. ❤️🙏🏻

Suffering is the work of memory which comes up. Start contemplating on the role of memory in repeated Suffering. Understanding memory will loosen the hold of unpleasant memory on your present moment.

Is it possible to burn entirely in this fire and not die at the same time?
I mean at time I feel like I'm physically going to die and at the same time I feel myself and love growing.
It's like I'm huge and huge energy and my body can't hold it and things in this world are not interesting.
One day I felt that huge vibration and my breathing was stopping by itself and my body became stuck and cold.. I had to shake myself not to die and find a reason to stay, the reason I found was about other people.
So now I'm feeling stuck in my spiritual journey because I feel I have to die and physically die to get what I'm looking for..
Any advise appreciated

Of course! Who is it that burns - then stops burning? Suffers and experiences - then moves onto something else?
Only that which is impermanent. Only the false sense of "I."
Nothing really ever happens.
Just sit still and be quiet. Become aware of your own Presence.
This Presence is you. It is consciousness. It is all pervading.
But just for now sit and allow yourself to experience it. To rest in it.
Really you don't have to do anything else!

I am not spellchecking. I want to know, because it could be both.
It's imminent with an i.
The narrator speaks as if he doesn't know what's actually been written, and is just narrating it like it's an ancient myth or something. I wonder how much of it he ended up understanding, or if he just left without anything going in, just doing a job.
I often wonder similar thoughts. Except, those thoughts are 100% ours in a sense, projecting our thoughts onto someone else. In reality no one else is out there. These thoughts are occurring only in our own consciousness, our own virtual reality of sorts.....What we are experiencing when we hear the audio is nothing more than consciousness, the same consciousness that you are...the experience of hearing those words emanate from no other then you "The one and the same SELF."
