I am a Wisconsin resident and I worry about the people that live along that Subduction Zone...have tried to encourage people that they need to maybe run their own drills and time how long it takes to get away from the eventual 60-80 foot waves coming on shore and pushing inland for a few miles...I hope someone prepares 'cause it will be very regrettable day for them
@livinglife2535 I moved there after a shitty divorce. Found myself, re grouped and moved on with life. Most people there are decent some are assholes. It's what you take from it that makes it.
I see a lot of sites that are along the canal that are set up for trailers and rvs. My friend has a house there. When we visit, we are normally with them until the wee hours of the morning. So, it doesn't make sense for me to build in Ocean Shores. I love the pace, and the people are very nice.
There are bears in Ocean Shores I keep my garbage can in my garage because of the bears. We have deer all over they walk in our yards. I have two bald eagles that hangout in the tree next to our home. We go to Shores fellowship church. Great people there. Our home is on the east side and the homes across the street from us are on the bay.
I have a friend that has a vacation home there. So, I ask them why Ocean Shores. I have not gotten a great answer yet. Personally, I love the water. So, I like being on or around the water; but I do not see a reason to buy a home in Ocean Shores.

Good video! I live in Kirkland, and Ocean Shores is where my family goes when we want to walk on the beach; Westport seems more suited for boats.
I agree with you. The Tribe should repair the marina. It would make the Ocean Shore's experience that much better.

It looked like a small bear prints. Some have been saying racoons, but the tracks are too large for racoons.

Those are a large dog. Bear tracks are wider and shorter. and have five claws that are laid out more rounded pattern.
I grew up in Ocean Shores in the late 90s early 2000s. The whole town is awful.

Any idea if I can harvest clams , crabs oysters out on the beach? I am planning to visit later this month August.
