This is such a work of love. So so much work you put into it. I’m so glad you are able to make things that make you so happy. After my sister was killed in October, sometimes sleep eludes me too. It’s so wonderful to have a project to work on. The other night I made my sweet husband some bookmarks for the new books he got for Christmas. He really loved them. In my mind, I’m working on making a journal using some of the many fabrics and sewing notions that she used and loved so well. I haven’t done anything like it yet. You really inspire me. We were 18 months apart in age, but had so many of the same interests. I miss her so much. We used to shop a lot together. We could spend 5 hours easily in hobby lobby or a fabric store. For my personal taste, these are two of the most wonderful journals (I refuse to call them 'junk' journals) that I have seen on YT. Every page was a treat. Thanks for sharing!

Yummy, Abby!!! I'm in her online class and slowly taking my time. I bought several passports because e some were too detailed and had their own story that they deserved to be honored. Absolutely love how your style came through. I plan on doing one using my Mom's passport about her life (she was my best friend). I have to make more than one.....so many stories to tell. One of the passports I have is from a Russian Captain during the cold War. It came with other supporting documents......just can't use it. My Dad's family were German-Russians that escaped before the fall of the Czar. They moved there from Germany during the reign of Catherine the Great. The one I am using is Israeli. She immigrated from Poland during WWII. I could spend hours talking about genealogy as it is a passion of mine. I am so blessed to finally take Orly's Passport to Journal Course! Love this journal. I have been wanting to make a passport journal for a while now. Did you just use the pages that were in the passport or did you add additional pages. I love that it is so chunky. Great job and such a personal treasure.
