    I was born in 1985, like most kids in india started watching cricket from an early age. Basically grew up along with Sachin's international career, all I have to say is thanks for the memories Sachin.

      Yeah, at 16 yrs of age with broken nose he scored half century against pakistani bowlers like Imraan khan, wassim akram, waqar yunis on fast pitch of pakistan, that too without helmet.
      In 90's while there was lot of fixing scandal, he was one hope for the country.
      In 2003 WC after parliament attack in India and India pak tension, he scored 98 in 75 balls.
      And in 2011 WC he remained highest run scorer for India and was man of the match in semis.

    Simply the god of cricket!
    Man could do everything and anything on the cricket field and made it look extremely easy, whether it was bowling the last of a game or hitting a 160kmph ball to stands, at 5'5" he could pull and could directly hit the wicket from 60 yards.
    None, i repeat none could replicate the emotions this man generated while playing.

  • @himanshu8006
    @himanshu8006 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Today people may ask why he is called the God of Cricket, it's because of his humility after being the 1st man to score 100 100s and the first man ever to scope 200+ in ODIs and of course remembering all his dismissals in 700+ matches, this shows we should remember and learn from our failures.

    Great legend !
    I followed Sachin's career since 92 when we used to stop everything we did and watch sachin play. Tuned to the radio to listen to him playing the Chennai test and left with the broken heart like him after he got out to Saqlin. Cried when he won the Chennai test against England after the 2008 Mumbai attack. He consoled the nation with that victory. He was the hope, he was the pride of the nation.
    I must say, as a Sachin fan, i am disappointed with his post retirement life. His tendency to stay non-controvertial meant he didn't do anything with the sort of following.he had. He could have done a lot more in a country like India. He could have picked women empowerment, caste discrimination, religious frictions and many other social issues. Sadly, he is just a cricketer now. He could have been a lot more than a cricketer.

    I think people see cricket a little boring is because there is no competiveness the game favoura batsman too much reverse swing is no longer there. ODI cricket should be 40 overs, and pitches should not favour batsman or bowlers but should be made contingent on a individuals skills only then there will be fair competition

    Sachin sir,as per my understanding cricket has already happened in 80s and 90s and fortunate are those watched it. There is nothing for the bowlers because pitches are developed in a way that every batter can score runs.In these days every ordinary batter has at least more than 15 hundreds in their account.How it come to possible, just because of flat and batter oriented pitches. But no issue, as I am one of those lucky people who have witnessed the golden era of cricket. For me no Sachin no cricket. I stopped watching cricket long time back.
