😉As I shared It’s got some more light adult humor but a ton of funny references to older TNG Star Trek episodes & lore that make it a great addition to the Star Trek universe but it’s a very lighthearted animated series with a small dose of modern storytelling that doesn’t ruin the overall enjoyment or experience, I had a fun time watching it each night before bed with my wife! So true about the memories from watching movies, especially when those people are no longer here. We had a Columbia House subscription when I was a kid and that’s how we saw movies like Last of the Mohicans, Few Good Men, etc. Very excited for Fight Club and I might double dip on Once Upon a Time In the West cause I collect versions of that movie cause I love it so much. Really cool they are working on Armageddon. I’m actually excited for Lower Decks, I ordered the 5th season Blu-Ray when it became available for preorder. I have to admit I am tempted by the steelbook set. I can say that you posting the one for How To Train Your Dragon on 4K steelbook a few months ago helped me get it which was awesome.

😘Thanks for always using my sale links, as far as the Blu Ray💿 releases of The Shaw Brothers films I haven’t compared the box sets but my understanding is between both studios they are releasing different Shaw Brothers films in each boxset so I’m not sure how much overlapping there really is for any of the Shaw films because they released a ton of films so both studios are working through releasing all the different titles on separate Blu Ray💿 boxset releases! Holy crap, this was just an endless list of things I’ve been craving on 4K. Django, Fight Club, Con Air, The Sandlot, Last of the Mohicans, The Insider, True Grit, Armageddon, Hateful Eight…man my wallet is going to be hurting but my heart will be full by the end of the year. Also yeah, there’s something really nice to be said about the emotional connection we feel to films based on our loved ones we see it with. Django Unchained is like that for me for sure, Tarantino is my dads favorite director and I remember us sitting down to watch that as my first Tarantino when it first came out

I am so glad that ‘The Last of the Mohicans’ is finally getting a 4k release. I am a bit disappointed though, because I was hoping that in addition to the director’s cut, the much preferred theatrical cut would be included. I guess we have to be happy with what we get.
I will be very happy to add the 4k of ‘True Grit’ to my collection. In spite of Glen Campbell’s less than exciting portrayal of a Texas Ranger who could barely stay on a horse, I love his rendition of the theme song so much that I can overlook his performance’s flaws. 😁
Excited for Fight Club and Armageddon. I am alittle worried how Armageddons special effects will look in 4k unless those were in high def which I doubt since it was the 90s. Fingers crossed.

MAJOR reveals! I am not necessarily excited for many of those myself, but I’m THRILLED for those of you who are. I am also relieved that there’s more to come from Disney / 20th Century. I, for one, hope that Disney puts out a new version of Muppet Christmas Carol on 4K this year (and please use the beautiful original Drew Struzan poster art, not a Photoshop / AI mess for the cover)!
I live in New Zealand and was able to get The Neverending Story ultimate 4k collectors set. Though it was expensive, it was a no-brainer because it's one of my favorite movies of all time. Have you got a review of the set.
Abigail, Django Unchained, Armageddon, Con Air and The Last of the Mohicans are all must buys for me! Definitely look forward to release dates on those! Hopefully we will get a 4k release of The Rock in the future as well.
Excited to see Last of the Mohicans, but I’m so tired of studios putting out “special edition” discs that *don’t* include theatrical versions. I actually ordered that movie from the UK to get both. If they’re not including that version somehow, I probably won’t upgrade again. Some of us want to be able to enjoy the version we loved originally, as well as any director’s cuts. (Also have the 5-version Blu-ray of Blade Runner!)
When I clicked on the link for the bar wire movie, it says it’s region two and will not play on North American Blu-ray players???? It’s also being sold by movies from mars, not amazon???

😉As I shared It’s got some more light adult humor but a ton of funny references to older TNG Star Trek episodes & lore that make it a great addition to the Star Trek universe but it’s a very lighthearted animated series with a small dose of modern storytelling that doesn’t ruin the overall enjoyment or experience, I had a fun time watching it each night before bed with my wife! Also those limited edition SteelBooks for the lower decks set look so dang nice & I decided I’m going to double dip & ordered myself a set too,😜LoL😂

So true about the memories from watching movies, especially when those people are no longer here. We had a Columbia House subscription when I was a kid and that’s how we saw movies like Last of the Mohicans, Few Good Men, etc. Very excited for Fight Club and I might double dip on Once Upon a Time In the West cause I collect versions of that movie cause I love it so much. Thanks James! Hopefully there’s news on Tron soon.

I’m actually excited for Lower Decks, I ordered the 5th season Blu-Ray when it became available for preorder. I have to admit I am tempted by the steelbook set.

I am looking forward to a few of those 4ks...but I'm really hoping for Tombstone, Dead Presidents.. in and Article I read, the Hughes Brothers claimed they already have a 4k transfer and audio mix remaster. They were just waiting on Disney. I really hope Sony is the one to put that one out. And also Blood in Blood out. Try to make some calls and let us know, please lol

😘Thanks for always using my sale links, as far as the Blu Ray💿 releases of The Shaw Brothers films I haven’t compared the box sets but my understanding is between both studios they are releasing different Shaw Brothers films in each boxset so I’m not sure how much overlapping there really is for any of the Shaw films because they released a ton of films so both studios are working through releasing all the different titles on separate Blu Ray💿 boxset releases! I have personally bought some of the arrow video sets & I have enjoyed them so I think both companies do good quality Blu Ray💿 releases so I think you’re safe on any of those sets!

Holy crap, this was just an endless list of things I’ve been craving on 4K. Django, Fight Club, Con Air, The Sandlot, Last of the Mohicans, The Insider, True Grit, Armageddon, Hateful Eight…man my wallet is going to be hurting but my heart will be full by the end of the year.
Also yeah, there’s something really nice to be said about the emotional connection we feel to films based on our loved ones we see it with. Django Unchained is like that for me for sure, Tarantino is my dads favorite director and I remember us sitting down to watch that as my first Tarantino when it first came out

I am so glad that ‘The Last of the Mohicans’ is finally getting a 4k release. I am a bit disappointed though, because I was hoping that in addition to the director’s cut, the much preferred theatrical cut would be included. I guess we have to be happy with what we get.
I will be very happy to add the 4k of ‘True Grit’ to my collection. In spite of Glen Campbell’s less than exciting portrayal of a Texas Ranger who could barely stay on a horse, I love his rendition of the theme song so much that I can overlook his performance’s flaws. 😁

Excited to see Last of the Mohicans, but I’m so tired of studios putting out “special edition” discs that *don’t* include theatrical versions. I actually ordered that movie from the UK to get both. If they’re not including that version somehow, I probably won’t upgrade again. Some of us want to be able to enjoy the version we loved originally, as well as any director’s cuts. (Also have the 5-version Blu-ray of Blade Runner!)
When I clicked on the link for the bar wire movie, it says it’s region two and will not play on North American Blu-ray players???? It’s also being sold by movies from mars, not amazon???
