Like you I’m on a no buy for 2021. I have the Honey.s Handmade Honey hair mask and I do like it. Don’t think I have any of the other products, but next year, I’d like to try the Edens Body Works co-wash. I’ve been hearing great things about it!

Hey Dawn! Thanks for tuning in again. Yeah, the As I Am JBCO line is just okay to me, too. I won't be repurchasing from that line. I can use pretty much any leave in with the Aunt Jackie's gel, but it needs to be a moisturizing leave in. The gel can be drying so I would say try to layer a leave-in, cream and gel or a leave-in, oil and gel. I use the Camille Rose Curl Love or the Camille Rose Curlaide Moisture Butter, the As I Am leave-in original is good or the Texture ID 3x Moisture Conditioner is good. Hope this helps. BTW, I'm glad you're recommitting to the No Buy...Good Luck!

I don't use a lot of different shampoos and the ones that I do use have some form of glycerin or aloe in them. You may want to just google protein free shampoos and see what comes up. Hope this helps.
I have yet to try the Eden Bodyworks cowash, so I think I’ll pick that one up! I love Honey’s Handmade products so much but their customer service is horrible... just terrible. I got my Black Friday order and half of it was missing. I’ve been calling, emailing, messaging on social media and have heard nothing back in over a month!! So I’m thinking I will use what I have (and I have quite a bit) and will just part ways with them.

What shampoo would you suggest for low porosity hair...no aloe vera or glycerin please?
I don't use a lot of different shampoos and the ones that I do use have some form of glycerin or aloe in them. You may want to just google protein free shampoos and see what comes up. Hope this helps.
